- Bad wiring in the house? Sounds at least like a situation like that. Not uncommon in buildings of certain times.. older types of wiring used. And worse not ready for todays amount of electronics. So yeah check the wiring. In between time buy a few extension boxes, you know the type with more then 1 electronic socket. But most important a switch. That way you can switch it off and that way such discharges won't happen any more.
- Q: Hi everyone,I attempted to build my first PC; purchased the hardware, software, etc. Everything is assembled perfectly.After installing the motherboard, power supply and the respective cards, I connect the power cable.Upon connecting the power cable, the PC turns on and the only way to turn it off is to remove the power cable (from the back of the PSU). - Hmm that sounds like you have missplaced the cables to the motherboard from the front pannel (on switch, HDD led etc.) Kenny
- Q: I need to run power cables from 4 fans on my stacker 830 around the edges of the case and into the power supply for cable management purposes. The fans I currently have, have power cables that are around only 10 inches long. Any ideas?
- Can you solder? If so, just clip the wires then splice on extensions. Add heat-shrink material, solder connections, shrink the material and you're good to go.

OKorder is a possibility but its a tad sketchy but its easy to use and not get again scammed but its your choice ofc i don't know the situation your in. im just guessing your worried about ordering online due to scamm websites, it could be that you simply don't have a card that can shop online (or even a card). Also delivery should be fairly quick (most being a week) so you won't be waiting too long either way. Turtle beach is based online, and distribute mainly from their website,(such is most designer accessories) the only reason they have their products in stores are because of their success online, and were able to expand but even then they only ever sell a few of their headsets in stores never their full range, then expecting parts is very rare. p.s i realise its a generic piece of equipment but its quite specific and there are very few things that use somthing that you've specified (not the sized and volt just a DC power cable that has a USB input) , that includes headsets, seriously most headsets don't require a power cable (and it having a power cable doesn't make it good) Hope this helps :S

- I can only tell you what my husband would say. He is a chemist and has done a lot of research on Electromagnetic Fields. He wouldn't buy it! Thirty years ago, he threw out our electric blankets! He moved the clock radio and phone off the nightstand! When he gets a call on his cell phone, he puts it on speakerphone and holds it away from his head! Obviously, he thinks there is something bad with EMFs. He would advise looking at other properties!

- you can get little velcro ties for like $3 for 50. learn how to coil cables correctly (most pros use under/over) and then secure them with the velcro strip (I like to keep the velcro at the male end of the XLR cables so it's not danglight around on the mike end) and then they should be kept pretty well organized even if you just throw them in a backpack or something
