A pressure relief valve (PRV) is a safety device that relieves overpressure in a vessel or system. When the pressure of vessel or system increased beyond the specified design pressure or maximum allowable working pressure, PRV will be opened automaticly to relief the overpressure for proteding the vessel or system. The PRV will be closed if the pressure reached specified design pressure so that to ensure the normal operation and protect the vessel or system.
Our Pressure Relief Valve has been designed and manuractured according to following Standard:
♦ ISO 4123-1 Safety Devices for Portection Against Excessve Pressure
♦ API STD 526 Flanged Steel Pressure Relief Valves
♦ API STD 527 Seat Tightness of Pressure Relief Valves
♦ ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII Division 1, Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels
Peformance:
♦ Type: Conventional, Bellows
♦ Size:1" D 2"- 8" T 10"
♦ Class:150lb~2500lb
♦ Temperature:-268~+538°C
♦ Fluid: Gas, Steam, and Liquid
♦ Material: Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Alloy steel
♦ The allowable tolerance of the set pressure: ≤±3%
♦ Overpressure: ≤10%(gas)/≤20%(liquid)
♦ Blowdown: ≤10%(gas)/≤20%(liquid)
♦ Tightness: conforms to API STD 527
Features:
♦The solid nozzle is screwed into the body, which makes the maintenance easy.
♦ The shape of the disc holder has been designed to enhance the effect of the fluid thrust for an instant lift of the disc.
♦ Blowdown control is provided with adjustable nuzzle ring only.
♦ The adequate terials and clearance between disc holder and guide , spindle and adjusting screw assures disc to lift successfully.
♦ The surface of both the disc and the nozzle seat are deposited with Stellite. Excellent flatness and surface finish of the seating surfaces by precision machining and lapping assure pressure relief valve to have high degree of seat tightness and long using life.
♦ The bellows of balanced bellows pressure relief valves can not only avoid and effect of variable back pressure in the system , but also protect spring and other trim components from corrosive media.
♦ Materials are chosen carefully , and the manufacture of the spring and the bellows has strict technological process. Each of them is tested and checked strictly.
- Q: My chevy s-10 pickup automatic is shifting rough from 1st to 2nd, gives the truck a bump when shifts. Tech says I likely need a valve body replacement. He also indicated I could drive this for a while if I wanted. What more can happen if I prolong replacement? Truck is still at a fair blue book value and I'm wondering if I should sell it now. I have been very lucky in not having to sink any $ aside from normal wear and tear into it, so for me to have it replaced is the first $ investment. I have 103k miles for 2000. Anyone else in a sim sitch, or having multiple problems at this mileage as well? I'm wondering if this is the begininng of the end?
- Chevrolet did have a bad problem with valve body wearing out the bore where the valve rides. I would recommend you replace the valve body too, unless it has high milage and the transmission has never been overhauled. Then I would say sell it now! They also have a problem with the reaction shell breaking or stripping and causing a no reverse problem. Those usually go out around 150,000 to 170,000 miles. So if your in that range, and you haven't had it rebuilt or you don't want to spend the money to rebuild it. I would recommend you selling it now.
- Q: im looking at buying a 1995 ford probe, but it has a busted valve in the head, does anyone know how much it would cost to have fixed?
- stay away from it
- Q: I want to reduce the prssure of a liquid flow (ethanol) from 16.7 atm to 1.2 atm? Do I need more than one valve?
- One control valve can reduce pressure, as long as there is always a significant flow through it. The main reason for using more than one valve is usually to reduce or prevent cavitation caused by a large pressure change through a given valve. Ethanol has a pretty high vapor pressure, so cavitation might be a problem. Control valve manufacturers usually provide design guides for their valve trim choices (often in software form) that lead you through the choices and requirements. Each valve design has different limits. But, my seat of the pants feel is that you can do this with one valve. I have included an example. I am not specifically recommending this company. -- Regards, John Popelish
- Q: my valve cap is leaking slowing how do i fix it what part do i need
- It might be just the core that is leaking but I would have a new stem put in to be on the safe side.
- Q: i dont get how valves produce the sound? and why did we change to solid state? was that because they we're used in stereos?
- Most valve amps I have used reproduce the sound of a tube amp. Tubes have a warm sound and can be overdriven to get that good rock crunch distortion sound. We went to solid state because they were durable and didn't require the maintenance of a tube amp. Printed circuits and transistors cut the cost of manufacturing. The old tube amps still have the purpose and they never quite matched the exact sound of tubes with the solid state amps. That is why they are making a lot of tube amps now.
- Q: Why is the atrioventricular valve in the right ventricle called the tricupsid valve and the atrioventricular valve on the left ventricle called the bicupsid valve?
- The TRIcuspid valve has 3 pointed flaps; the BIcuspid valve has 2 pointed flaps, and a cuspid is a point (just like your bicuspid teeth have 2 points).
- Q: My washing machine had hot and cold water, but was leaking. I changed the inlet valve which stopped the leak, but now I have no hot water. When I put the setting on warm, the cold water runs for a bit. Then stops and no hot water comes. Any help?
- I suspect the leaking valve that was replaced was your washer's solenoid valve. Did you remember to turn the hot water supply valve on after you finished? That is the valve, next to the cold water supply valve, on/at the wall behind the washer. There are rubber hoses coming from those valves to the solenoid valves on your washer. If you forgot to turn it back on after replacing the leaking valve you'll get no water. If you turn off both the hot and cold supply valves on the wall you should be able to remove the rubber hoses right where they connect to the machine and check the water flow by directing them into a bucket or pan while you open the supply vales. If you have good pressure and flow make sure there is no debris clogging the screen, just inside there the hose connects to your machine. These can get blocked where the water won't pass or runs very slow. Sometimes it pays to check the simplest causes first. Good Luck. SS.
- Q: I have presta valves on my mountain bike now and only Presta valves can fit through the hole in the rim where the valve goes. If i want to start using Shrader valve tubes, because they are way more common and i can get them at Walmart, is it ok if i bore out the hole in my rim in order to get the Shrader valve to fit
- honestly, are you going through that many tubes that you're even entertaining this? and will you really save that much money getting tubes at wallywood? if you are blowing so many tubes, either you or your rim is at fault, and you need to go to your LBS to check it out. wallywood can't help you fix the wheel..
- Q: Hi, in the heart, blood flows through the AV valves and enters the ventricles once the atria have filled up with blood. What opens the AV valves? Fluid pressure from the blood or the SA node pulses?
- The opening and closing of the atrioventricular valves is controlled by the differences in pressure across them: When blood passes from an atrium to a ventricle, the atrioventricular valve is pushed open (and the papillary muscles relax and the chordae tendineae lose their tension, becoming slack). At the next stage in the sequence the ventricle contracts. This forces blood out from the ventricle into the artery via which it leaves the heart. This contraction of the ventricle and the corresponding increase in blood pressure within that ventricle also presses the cusps of the atrioventricular valve together until their edges meet, closing the valve. At the same time, the papillary muscles contract and the chordae tendineae tighten - both of which also help to prevent the cusps from enabling the atrioventricular valves to open. When in the next stage of the sequence the ventricle relaxes and the atrium contracts, the blood pressure situation is reversed, the relaxation/tension of the papillary muscles and the chordae tendineae also reverses, and the atrioventricular valve allows blood to pass from the atrium to the ventricle again.
- Q: Hey, ive got a scooby and have a baileys dump valve that is a loud deep wooooosh sorta sound. What dump valve does the more high pitch sound? also they dump valve with the higher pitch seems to need less presure ta dump, mine needs alot of pressure before it will dump loud?
- if i remember rite you can adjust the control settings for your dump valve so that it will dump at a lower pressure and a lower pressure dump should also give you the sound that you are looking for.
