Q: you know the little rugs that kind of curve around the base of your toilet and a little in front?i left it outside and it stormed overnight and it blew off of the deck into some nastiness on the ground and its all soaking wet.can i just throw it in the washer? i don't want to ruin the stuff on the underside, like have it all fall off you know?haha i hope you understand what i'm talking about:/ thanks=): You can throw it in the washer. Don't put it on high heat or use the tumble dryer. That's what tears up the rubber backing. You should be able to wash it a few times before it starts to fall apart.

Q: I'm having a hard time visualizing this. I have two small black tables, a black loveseat, black TV with a black (or soon to be silver stand) and a bright red chaise lounge. I know going with a neutral beige rug would be good, but what is another different color I can go with in a rug? Q: I have burned holes in my rug that need repaired. I have a piece of the same rug. Can this be repaired eaisly.....or best to call repair service.: Cut a square piece of the rug out. Take an old pair of jeans. Cut out a square 1 bigger on all sides as the cut square of the rug. Use Elmers glue and glue the jeans square to the subflooring then put glue on the top of the square. Cut a piece of the carpet from the piece that you have the same size as the first square you cut out. Place it on top of the blue jeans square and press down to make sure it is totally catching the glue. Voila!

If it uses Stainmaster yarn, then you will have a great carpet. A 1/2 8lb pad really isn't necessary; a 1/2 6lb pad would do just fine. It all depends on your living situation: is there a lot of people living there? If so, a heavier pad would help with the wear and tear of the carpet. If it is just you or you and one other person,the lighter pad would do just fine.
