Q: I haven't vacuumed my carpet in over 2 months and its really dirty. I know its disgusting but I hate this flat so much and I rarely come here, just to sleep. Q: are there any home made recipes i can use for removing stains out of the carpet?thanks.: when you're trying to remove a spot, you need to subtract, not add. vaccuum the carpet when it's dry. then use a damp white towel. If this isn't doing much, you can go to non-ammonia windex or rubbing alchohol. avoid any other detergents or over-the counter spot removers, as they can set spots in or cause bleaching(and yes, oxi- labeled cleaners can do that too). some spots are permanent, but if you avoid harsh chemicals, a pro will at least have a fighting chance. Using the harsh chemicals can eliminate that chance.

Q: Hi, Has anyone had any experience with Axiom Rugs? They are pretty cheap and look quite good. i was looking at them on OKorder by a seller called ridelouk, they look good to me, but has anyone bought one? I had them for my old lease horse and they're fantastic :) The usual Saxon or Weatherbeater rugs didn't last as long as the Axiom ones did. Q: i put a very hot pot on a carpet: first off , WHY ?? , you need to have some of the same carpet , cut out the bad carpet ( you need to cut it out between the row's ) then do the same with the piece that you are going to put in ( make sure that it's the same size ) then silicone the edges on both pieces and let it dry , next put double face tape down on top of the pad ( if glued down skip this step ) then you need to use seam glue on all edges , next carefully put in the new piece and roll it with a tractor (carpet tool ) then set something heavy on top of it and let it dry over night and roll it with the tractor again.

Q: My landlord recently replaced my nasty old carpet, but this new one isn't that great either. It got flat almost immediately, granted we also have kids, and I want to fluff it back up but I haven't been very successful. Q: The carpets in a house we placed an offer on are ick. Well they don't smell and most of the stains I think will clean out but they eventually need to be replaced. But due to other costs we have to address first we want to clean them. Is calling a professional steam cleaner the best way to go? Does steam cleaning really do a good job? We have shampood carpets before with horrible results.: A professional advised me that most home cleaners do not remove the water out of the carpets well enough, therefore causing damage to the carpets. I have experienced this trying to do it myself. Depends on the carpet. They removed a lot of stains from my carpet, but some returned at a later time. If you are not in the position to replace, hiring a professional cleaner is your best bet.

Q: It has no darts int the shoulders like most rugs and i don't want to buy it if it will rub: I am going to buy one exactly the same - for the same purpose! my friend has one and it goes under everything - stable rugs, quilt rugs, outdoor winter rugs, canvases, deniers, even summer rugs just for the extra warmth - everything! She has had no rubbing problems and swears by them! I am going to get one exactly the same and i am sure you will have no problems with it!
