I have no idea what i should do i have a burgundy and cream shag rug that's kinda a woven pattern that i think looks good but i don't have a very good eye for matching colors.: If you don't want to go out looking for a new rug, I would use the burgundy and cream one and just go out looking for a few inexpensive things that could tie together the burgundy, cream, and blue. But if you are looking to buy another rug, I think matching your curtains is a good idea, or going for a neutral color might be even better in case you later decide to redecorate, as neutrals will match most anything. Maybe you could go for a cream or brown? There are tons of rugs that have browns, creams, and blues, especially in florals, all together. Brown and blue can be very pretty together, and maybe even cute or trendy, so I'm sure you'll find something :) Best of luck to you.

Q:My boyfriend and I have a mini fridge in our bedroom. Anyways, they want us to pay for the whole carpet cost. Is that right?Were in minnesota: Judges in my area use a 7 year life on carpet. It really depends on the quality of carpet and how long it should last. Nylon carpet is better than olefin and lasts longer, but is more expensive and will last longer and clean better. In the same vain, my state puts only a 2 years life on interior paint in a rental. Have you had a professional carpet cleaning company see if they can clean it and get the spots out? If the spots are from dirt that would be more in line with normal wear an tear. If the spots are from pets stains, food, and spills that is not normal. No matter what, you should not be charged for the entire cost of a new carpet, but depreciate the carpet no less than 50%.

You can then picture that you could lay 30 of those out in a row and that would run the length of your room. You would then need 20 of those rows. So you could add all of that up or you could multiply, like has been previously discussed. However if this is for someone purchasing carpet, you should know that carpet generally comes in 12 foot wide rolls plus or minus a bit depending on the mill where it's made. and you'll probably have to buy 60 linear feet or 720 square feet, this will give you one seam running the length of the room. Alternatively you could hope that the roll is exactly 12 feet wide and you could buy 50 linear feet but this will give you three seams. If it's being installed for you, then it will probably be figured the second way. Although the first way gives a better installation. It's the difference between theoretical and reality.

Q:How are those carpets differ from each other?: Commercial carpets usually have a denser shorter pile and a stronger, thicker backing that is sealed to be waterproof. Commercial carpets are not as soft under the feet but will usually wear better and stand up to a lot of traffic and cleaning.
