So if 108 sq ft=$27, then you divide both sides of the equation by 108 to find how much 1 sq ft equals. You get 1 sq ft=$.25. The area of the 2nd carpet is 8*14=112. So if 112 sq ft=$28, then you divide both sides of the equation by 112 to find how much 1 sq ft equals. You get 1 sq ft=$..25. This means they both cost the same amount per sq ft, therefore neither was the better bargain.

Most vacuum cleaners should have different options for the length of the carpet fiber, from extra low to high. For shag, you just choose high. Q: I got a rug burn on my toe Monday and not quite sure how to treat it. When I looked up how to treat rug burns, every site said that they were like 1st degree burns or a sunburn and should be pretty much treated the same way. However mine is open and for the first few days, was leaking pus and a clear liquid. It hasn't healed up yet and I have been treating it as a cut. It fizzes when peroxide is applied but today didn't do it as much (and hurts much less). Am I doing the right thing? Also is there a cool trick to get a band aid to stay on my toe? The burn is at the joint that is the foot equivalent of a knuckle.: If it is getting better than you are doing the right thing. The trick to the band aid, would be to get a longer one, so that it will go all the way around your toe and stick to itself. Measure it before you take those tabs off to make sure it is long enuff.

LOL!!... get a black kitty or puppy and blame it on them!!....

Q: Somehow molten candle wax got dropped in my carpet and its really hard now. How can i remove it without destroying my carpet?: Well I am not totally sure but perhaps if you heat water until it is scalding hot and pour it on the spot then dab at it with a towel. Do this a couple of times until the wax is gone. I don't know if it will work for sure but at least it wont ruin that spot on the carpet so much by cutting and scraping at it. If you are not worried about the carpet so much then cut it but it sounds like that you are worried about it or you wouldn't try and clean it at all. I would try the scalding hot water. Cant hurt it. I think it will work though. Then after you do that try a carpet cleaner that you can spray on and vacuum up. Might draw out any wax that is left over. Don't boil the water though, I don't know if it will melt the synthetic fibers in the carpet or not if it is boiling water. Good luck hope it works.
