- The area of the 1st carpet is 9*12=108. So if 108 sq ft=$27, then you divide both sides of the equation by 108 to find how much 1 sq ft equals. You get 1 sq ft=$.25. The area of the 2nd carpet is 8*14=112. So if 112 sq ft=$28, then you divide both sides of the equation by 112 to find how much 1 sq ft equals. You get 1 sq ft=$..25. This means they both cost the same amount per sq ft, therefore neither was the better bargain.

- the brown accent wall will draw attention to the rug and you dont want that so what i would do is get a huge square coffee table in maple wood or ash wood to lighten the room and colorful stuff on the walls to make the brown as diminished as possible. let it be the only brown thing in the room. just my 2 cents

- 'I Love My Carpet' cleans everything. and also CLOROX BLEACH PENS get the stains out of anything! I swear! For the paint you could try spraying hairspray on it and it might come out easier. You could put club soda, bleach, baking soda and water, or nail polish remover on stains and scrub it with a wet wash cloth, and it should clean your carpet. You could also try a steam cleaner.
- Q: I have a dark tan/light brown carpet. I dropped some black eyeshadow and it got kicked about and now it's in the carpet. I really really need to clean it because I move out soon and don't want to have to pay for a whole entire cleaning. Anyone have any remedies to help?
