- That is a good size one. $10,000 is a bit much though. Probably worth $5,500-$6,000 depending on condition. I can't believe anyone would put that out at a yard sale for $20. CRAZY! - The hardware store will carry a product called Goof Off which will remove almost anything from carpeting without ruining it. It comes in spray bottles and liquid--vaccuum up as much as you can, really well, then sponge it onto the stains and wash afterwards with soap and water. That stuff will come right out. Then vaccuum it thoroughly again to remove any soap residue. This stuff even removed nail polish from my carpeting and you couldn't tell it was ever there.

- Q: I spilled liquid laundry soap on the floor yesterday. I cleaned it with a wet vac and I thought it went away. Today when I woke up it stained the carpet. I've been rinsing it all day with just water and sucking it up with the wet vac. How can I get this stain to go away. Please help very desperate.
