I've had a microfiber sofa for about a month and its starting to feel grainy and pill like a sweater would, I can't imagine what it will look and feel like 6 months from now. - Microfiber is just a fancy word for polyester - a recent way to erase the image of the polyester suit from the 70s. The only thing that matters is the fact that you are not satisfied with the quality of the fabric so let the store bend over backwards to please you. I have microfiber sheets that are not supposed to pill - but they do, mainly by the foot area.
