- Q: I have an old, black leather living room sofa set that needs to be replaced. I've been hoping that Costco would have them on sale, but they only sell leather sofas in different shades of brown. Is there a reason that Costco vendors would only sell sofas in brown? Is brown more popular than black? I need black because my wife says very dark brown is still not black, because black leather makes a statement. Thanks.

- it depends on what kind of material the sofa is made out of leather is really difficult to fix but most other things can just be sewn up if your decent with a needle and thread, otherwise contact the manufacturer and they can normally fix it... for a price

- Q: He is 3 years old and fixed. He pees on the couch all the time. He does this right after going out to do his stuff!! He is a good dog, very obedient and quiet. - I have a Broyhill sofa I purchased in 1997 and still absolutely love it. It is a slipcover sofa--meaning it is upholstered in off white underneath the slipcover, which comes off and I wash it in the washing machine. The slipcover is of good quality and fits well, without being sloppy looking at all. It is also made well, I know because I am a seamstress. I love this feature because I have made another slipcover for a refreshing change. The arms, legs and joints of the sofa are still as sturdy as the day it was delivered. So, I have had good personal experience with Broyhill. I am also an Interior Decorator and when furniture shopping for clients, I push them toward Broyhill. They too, have no complaints. So, I would highly recommend Broyhill.
- Q: What is better quality sofas Lane or La-z-boy? Only intrested in these 2 brands.?have you had a problem with la-z-boy sofa cushions getting out of shape or flatening after the 1 year warranty?If you own a lane has the above ever happned to you?
- We have 2 La-z-boy reclines and I love them, they are 7 yrs old, we bought our La-z-boy love seat at the same time and I'm not happy with the cushions, they have flattened noticible and it is not used nearly as much as the chairs. We also purchased a la-z-boy sofa sleeper last year for our 2nd home and the cushions have flattened also with very little use. I don't have any experience with the lane brand.
- Q: I have a 5-6 inch tear in my leather sofa starting at the seam and going downward in the cushion where the sofa reclines. I am not sure how to fix it and I can't afford the $300 I was qouted to repair it by a professional.
