- Q: I recently Hooked a newer Pioneer cd player up in my 00 mustang gt!.. it will not keep memory. - You need to get a test light and find a wire under the dash or coming from the ignition that has power when the key is turned on. If you want the plug to have power when the key is off then you will need to find a wire that has power when the key is off. Once you find the wire make sure its thicker wire and splice into it.

- Stranded or solid are the same in so far as performance. The stranded is used where flexibility is needed. solid wire is prone to breaking when repeatedly flexed. Solid wire is a bit cheaper, and easier to work with where you need the wire to stay in a particular shape. .

- No, you can't physically see the difference in the thicker wire, but you can feel the difference when they first put it in. It will feel kind of heavier and tighter. It won't last long though...maybe 2 or 3 days and you'll get used to it. No, you won't get a thicker wire at every visit.

Also, bonsai wire is usually single strand conductor because it is stiffer and will retain its shape better than multistrand. . Generally, wire is wire.
