Production process: it uses the high quality low carbon steel wire rodprocessing, is made of high quality low carbon steel, the drawing, pickling, annealing, galvanizing. The cooling process and processing.

Characteristics: galvanized steel wire has good toughness and elasticity, the highest volume of zinc can be up to 300 grams / square meter. Has galvanized layer thickness, strong corrosion resistance and other properties.

Application: galvanized wire products are widely used in architecture, handicrafts, silk screen preparation, highway barriers, product packaging and daily civil, and other fields.

Galvanized wire and divided into hot dip galvanized wire and cold galvanized wire (galvanized wire) to distinguish:

Hot dip galvanizing is dipping in zinc liquid heating melting, fast production, coating thickness but not even, the minimum thickness of the market allows the 45 microns, the maximum of 300 microns above. Color is dark, zinc metal consumption, infiltration layer is formed with the base metal, good corrosion resistance, hot dip galvanized outdoor environmentcan keep decades.

Cold galvanizing zinc (Galvanized) is gradually plating metal appearancethrough the current direction in the plating tank, production speed is slow, uniform coating, thin, usually only 3-15 micron, bright appearance, corrosion resistance is poor, generally a few months will rust.

The hot dip galvanized, electric galvanized low production cost.

Cold galvanized and hot dip galvanized difference:

Cold galvanized and hot dip galvanizing is the difference between the amount of zinc, can identify them from the color, cold galvanized colorhair silvery white with yellow. Hot dip galvanized hair white.

Q: I keep thinking that the wire would cut into the bark when the bonsai is growing.I want to wire it now because it is easily manipulative, but I don't want to prevent trunk growth
Wire it, let it grow a bit. Then, as necessary, undo the wire, then rewire it to fit the new size. An alternative is to append weights, or tie strings to other objects or parts of the plant instead of wiring a whole branch.
Q: I have a '78 jeep cj7 with points type ignition, I was wanting someone to explain exactly how to wire up the coil, starting with the 3 wires from the ignition switch.
Just go to Summit Racing Equipment online and get either a factory replacement or an aftermarket that has the factory hook ups so you don't have to figure out the wiring. Are you replacing the wiring? is it damaged? You might try painless wiring and see if they have a wiring system for it. Or get a manual with a wiring diagram.
Q: I am replacing an outside floodlight, the cable from the house has 4 wires (black, brown, grey and yellow), but the floodlight has the standard 3 live, neutral and earth fitting. How would I wire the new floodlight.. the wiring for the old floodlight is less than a year old on a house rewire. Thanks!
Four wire power cables used to be used for 2 and 3 phase power. You would normally provide floodlight power with the use of 3 wires. How long is the cable length from house to floodlights? I would look to see what your source wire colors are and try to match those. It used to be in the USA that the red wire was used to carry the 120/240 Volts AC (50 ~ 60~ Herz). The Black wire was considered the return or negative line; and if you have a green wire it is used to put an earth ground on all the shielding, metal jackets, etc.
Q: What's the factors affecting resistance of a wire? and why? thank you!
The 2nd and 3rd discussions were good but didn't discuss magnetism. The 1st guy: an open circuit has infinite resistance. Even a straight piece of wire has some self-inductance (or self-magnetism). One affect of inductance is that it opposes changes in current. So when you first apply a dc voltage across a wire and a dc current starts to flow, the self-inductance will resist the increase in current. It will appear to be because of higher resistance than expected. But the current will increase over a short time, and once it gets to a steady-state, the apparent resistance from the self-inductance is zero. This, self-inductance in a straight piece of wire, is a minor affect compared to components that presumably are in the circuit. After the current reaches steady state, the self-inductance will try to oppose a decrease in current. If the voltage and therefore the current are ac - alternating, this gets more complicated. The current is always trying to change. At the level of study I think you are, you should save this for later.
Q: Does anybody know of a How to Guide... or a tutorial or something to help me wire a Telecaster for a project? I'm pretty new at this and I want to make sense of the wiring diagrams I've found and make sure I don't screw anything up, thank you.
And it is hundreds of similar resources, which may indicate you haven't really used the search engines. Just enter search terms like: telecaster wiring, guitar wiring, guitar schematics, guitar wiring diagrams and so on.
Q: But I want to switch it and wire the red ceiling wire to the black fan wire and the black ceiling wire to the black/white fan wire so that the particular switches work the way I want them to. Is this ok, to switch them?
Black wire on the fan is for the fan motor, red wire in the fan is for the light, the white wire is the neutral wire. So if you do want to switch the light off and on you have to tie red wire to the switch and the black wire can be tied to the hot at the ceiling box so you can control the fan with the chain only. If you have one switch leg in your circuit then you cannot do anything but switch them both if you tie them together. I think I am understanding what you are saying here. White Alyse ties to white Black is for the fan motor and the red is for the light. If you have three wires in the switch then you can tie them the same way color to color. Hope this has not confused you You can email me if you need further help
Q: Suppose we have a 10v battery.one end of the battery is at 10V electric potential and other is at 0V Hence, the potential difference is 10V.if we measure the voltage( p.d.) across positive terminal at 10V and the middle of the wire connecting both ends of battery will it be less??I mean,at the middle of the wire the electric will not be zero, right??(correct me if am wrong)Thanks!!
You are right.
Q: how do you connect two copper wires together
You could try solder. I usually just twist them together and then cover them with electrical tape, although, I guess that's not the proper way.
Q: i need magnetic wire to make a coil and build aradio
You can often get varnished wire at an outlet such as radio shack. I have also used the yokes of old TV sets that I usually got for free at a local repair shop. I had to carefully unwind the coils. The wire in an automobile ignition coil is another potentially free source. You can purchase electrical insulating varnish as well. Krylon makes an aerosol variety and most others come in a regular can, but you would have to be creative in dipping the wire and suspending it to dry without damaging the coating.
Q: I just tore my old shed down, that was wired for electrical. though I never used power out there There is size 10 wiring (two wires), running from the house to where my shed was. I then bought a Tough Shed from The Home Depot and put it where my old shed was. While working on wiring my new shed for electricity, I turned power off to the entire house.I am trying to install power to the shed and I spliced the size 10 wires to size 14 (three cable, includes a ground) which I have connect to an electrical outlet in the shed, but once I turn the main power box back on, the circuit that runs power to the shed keeps tripping off. Am I missing something here? Thanks
Thats big # 10. Sounds like somebody was running a welder or air compressor. But you can still use it. Do Not forget your GFCI outlet.
