3. Operational Performance
a. Cable conductor allowed long-term working temperature not exceeding 70 ℃.
When short circuit happened (the duration no longer than 5 seconds), the maximum temperature of cable conductor is not exceeding 160℃.
b. When laying cable, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 0℃,if not the cable need to be preheated. The bending radius of multicore unarmored cable should not be less than 12 times of outer diameter of cable, 15 times for armored cable.
c. Cable DC resistance should comply with GB/T3956-1997.
d. Power frequency voltage withstanding test: 2.5 U0 +2kV/5min no breakdown.

- Q: i have a lightning audio amp, it was wokring a few months ago when i pulled it out of my car, i tried yesterday to see if it worked, it turned one for 5 seconds and went into protection mode, so i tested it with the battery and it did the same, and the cables got hot, and help please
- Having the alarm put in should not affect your amp, I hate taking my car somewhere thinking someone might play with, and maybe break my toys. But yes they were right always sand the ground spot till its nice and shiny but I cant see a week ground tripping the protection light. Try unhooking the power wire and run a temperary one from the amp to the battery to see if your power wire might be the culprit by wearing and posibly lightly shorting against metal. The power wire is the most likely to be the guilty party if everything bench tested good (also relace the fuse at the battery they can become defective without breaking I had that happen before) Good luck.

- always go with the 4 gauge...u dont need to go any bigger like 2 or 0 gauge unless u just want to....alot of people say to go 2 gauge or 0 gauge when u add more power but look at ur powerline to ur house...its 4 guage and it generates 10x the current ur car will.....

- That's actually a six prong molex connector commonly used in computers. You might be able to get the male end from a computer shop or maybe a place like Fry's or CompUSA. I found a website that has them too and included the link below. For how to wire it up, it's actually printed on the box right next to the connector. The top three wires are as follows: Top left = 12v+ Top middle = remote Top right = ground The bottom three aren't even used in this setup. Also, the factory specs say, you need to use 12 gauge wire for the power and ground and 18 gauge remote wire. Enjoy!
