- Q: i want to have fun with my eclipse, kind of chop it and lift it. I want to lift it about 2 to 3 inches but i am not sure how. Is there a vehicle that has the same bolt patters in the struts as my eclipse or do i need to go have something custom made?
- The air passing through that engine is still accelerated isn't it? Those engines are optimized for higher altitudes, and actually less efficient lower down.
- Q: I thought it was my Bottom bracket but it only make the noise for about 10 minutes and it would make it when the bike would sag down(like if I sat down on it or landed after a log or something) and then I didn‘t hear it for about 2 hours of riding after that. Is my bike good? What may it be?
- Is this a full-suspension bike? I had a full-suspension bike and I had a devil of a time hunting down the various noises, including that wierd creaking and pinging noise whenever I put weight on it. It was hard to hunt down the noise because my MTB has an aluminum frame (which transmits noise very well and makes it hard to tell where the noise is coming from). Turned out it was the pivot points of the rear suspension system causing the noises. Putting some teflon grease onto the bushings and retention bolts solved the creaking and pinging whenever the suspension system had to flex. I had to disassemble and lube those pivot points (including the ones on the shock) every couple of months to prevent the noise from coming back. Do beware that if your bike has a large plastic center pivot assembly, you are not supposed to lube it (a lube might cause the plastic to loosen). So be careful and think it through before doing anything. If you have a hardtail bike and it's making those creaking or pinging noises, something may be wrong with the frame. You want to inspect it carefully for any fatigue hairline cracks.

- not necessary,make sure they are properly inflated or you may need to have them re balance.
- Q: Our Saturn SW2 doesn't do this, and the suspension systems are not all that different on the Toyotaso it isn't like one car is made to ride much smoother than the other.When I turn into our driveway, there is a tiny bump as you go from the road into the driveway. Our Saturn simply bumps silently onto the driveway, but our Toyota makes a loud WHAM! sound coming from the front left tire. I've bounced the car using it's bumper on that corner, and it doesn't keep moving after I let it go.it seems to spring back and hold nicely.What could this be?
- Go under your car on the where the noise is coming from, there is a sway bar, on the end of the sway bar, there is a rod that attatches it to the lower control arm, this is probably where the noise is coming from, cheap part and easy to replace.
- Q: is the 20x saddle pad a good buy?
- If you are talking about what I think you are, then heres what I could find about it: - has an air ride suspension system -foam rubber -cutout at the withers - and under the latigo It looks professional enough. and its expensive, and in the horse world, you usually get your money's worth. My western saddle pad is just felt and neoprene, and I bought it used for $50, in very good shape, and its worked great for months so far. Its more of how you care for what you buy, than what brand or make it is. See if you can find someone who has one and will let you borrow it, or if you can find a tack shop willing to let you test ride it first. hope I helped some, good luck! p.s. when trying a new saddle pad, always remember to check for sorness after you ride, and spots that are exceptionally sweaty; that alone can give you a good idea if its going to work!

- Just one aspect of suspension design would take alot more learning that you will get on here. Might try a college for engineering. I've read about suspension design and it's intense. Maybe if you have a direct question but such a general one will take several years to teach/answer.

- I'm thinking that coilovers are for supplementing the existing suspension, not to replace it. I would first find out why your car is slanted to one side - probably a broken leaf in the leaf spring of mis-adjusted torsion bar
