Q: What is the three in one carpet cleaning machine?
Accessories: 2 quick through / off nozzlesThree in one carpet washing machine, water jet; roller brush deep cleaning; water absorption. Thoroughly cleaned, usually cleaned once to two months.Remark: optional electric powered power grab
Q: Stair carpet, press bar, press plate
Carpet press boards are used for carpeting at the junction of other ground paving materials and are now made of stainless or copper materials
Q: I have berber carpet in my living room and every couple of days i will see this white stuff just magically appear on the top of the carpet. I go to wipe it away and it seems to be nothing, like it just disappears, nothing left on the towel or on the rug like it just vanishes. It's in the same spot every time. Could something be growing under the carpet? If so, is it mold and how can I fix it?
It sounds like a powder carpet deodorizer was once used on the carpet and is now walking to the surface. These gimmick products are a real nuisance once they have been administered to the carpet. According to directions they are supposed to be vacuumed from the carpet, however, that is near impossible with out a mega ton beater bar and a super volcanic vacuum cleaner. Mold only grows in high humidity, needing a food source, such as extremely soiled carpet or upholstery, wood or paper. Berber carpet, if Olefin is a tough carpet to vacuum as the fibers run horizontal with the floor, soil, spills, etc, hide under neath the carpet strands. Place your hand on the counter top, spread your fingers, imagine a spill on top of your hand, The spill will migrate down between your fingers and position itself on the bottom of your fingers. That's how Olefin carpeting is made, tough to vacuum and tough to even professionally clean.
Q: I acquired a huge area rug from someone who was giving it away, they said I just have to steam clean it. Well the thing smells beyond belief and we've already used a whole bottle of Bissel cleaner solution. Do you think t will come clean if I take it outside tomorrow and spray it off with a hose and some vinegar and let the sun do the rest? I do not want to have to go to the store and buy anymore solution, it's obviously not working so far. Thanks!
That's how my wife cleans ours- we have a 5 by 9 rug in our living room. Our new puppy still has a problem, and that's his favorite place to make a mess! We take our outside and drag it up over the kids swing set. If it's really bad we lay it on the grass first and she scrub brush with some white vinegar to hit the spots, then hose the daylights out of it. We'll leave it outside for a day or two, airing it out helps. You might want to try some sort of different cleaner too- if you know anyone that works in a school, hospital or nursing home. They have some enzyme type cleaners to treat carpet with, if you have a janitor's supply close you can see what they recommend. The grocery store stuff didn't do much for us either! Good Luck!
Q: I noticed a bunch of sand under an area rug in our living room, and my mom said something about how fibers in old carpets an rugs turn into sand. Is this true? And if so, how does it work?
do no longer hear to the different answerer. Sand is rare in australia as australia is arid (e.g wooded area, airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust, rocks) no longer a wasteland, so substrates are different. Sand is generally prevented as dragons flavor their atmosphere and could consume it. It acts as a glue and is puzzling to digest which could delivered approximately impaction or loss of existence, extraordinarily sand/calci must be especially prevented..i be attentive to from adventure because it impacted one among my bearded dragons. i might decide for carpet (which i take advantage of and have in no way had any themes with) in spite of the undeniable fact that in case you will get tile, because it records down their nails and is less difficult to bathe.
Q: I have a thin, lightweight, 3x5 rug in my room. The floor is hardwood floor (but unwaxed). It is kind of like an quot;area-fillerquot;, so my room doesn't look so empty, therefore I don't want to put anything on top of it to anchor it down. Simply walking over it causes it to slip slide and move around. What can I do to hold it in place? Do they sell anything for things like this?Thank you!
it does work good but beware! I had one and the rubber stuck to the hardwood floor after 1 summer had passed. It took me FOREVER to get it off the wood. Try attaching small piece to each corner of the rug instead of using one solid piece.
Q: does anyone know how to get the smell of urine out of carpet, ive trieed ferbreeze but its not doing it, any suggestions...
Use Nature's Miracle, it contains enzymes that break down that ammonia smell. Buy it in a pet store. Don't buy anything else, many copy cat products but only this stuff works. Not cheap but worth it.
Q: my brother spilled water on the carpet and instead of drying it up he just threw a towel over it and left it all night. now the carpet smells really bad of mildew. i tried washing it with soap and water and it helped a little. i tried febreeze but that did no good. i don't have a steam carpet cleaner.
The carpet just sat overnight and now smells of mildew? Wow. First you need to kill the mildew. I would spray it with Lysol so that you saturate the wet spot. You need to make sure that the padding underneath the carpet will be clean and dry, so you may even need to lift up the carpet to check the padding. If the water has saturated through to the padding, you need to Lysol that too. Then blot it with a towel to get as much of the moisture out as possible, and turn a fan on that spot and leave it for a couple of days until you are sure it is completely dry. Then work some baking soda into the carpet and vacuum it up.
Q: I'm looking for a rug with red as the main color. It needs to be contemporary/modern with a geometric or abstract design. I've tried Target, Pier 1, Pottery Barn, Ikea, West Elm and even Walmart and neither of them have a rug that I just love. Does anyone know of a cool contemporary home store (not on the list) that may have what I'm looking for?
Sometimes okorder , on the internet. Their shipping is very low, too. Of course, ordering off the internet is sometimes risky because you can't actually see what you're getting. But if you can find a design you like, and the colors don't have to be an exact match, or if you can START with the color and work from there, it may be a good solution. Hope you can find some useful advice here on Answers. Good luck!
Q: I have not always found snug bugs in my rugs......so I am taking a poll here today to see if this saying could have some real validity to it. Do YOUR rugs have snug bugs? If so, how many snug bugs can you count in your rugs? And lastly, why on earth do we tolerate snug bugs in our rugs? What think you?
Let's start with this: what defines a snug bug?
