Q:colour-not quiter pink-not orange-2 choices I have seen- background medium to lighter green rug with same paprika colour it-abstact pattern or background almost same as sofas with some light green and light blue--is it better to have mor colour that matches sofas or introduce new coulor and pop the sofa colour in it? Help please? Thanks so much!: For the rug not to stand out to much you need just a little color that matches the couch or walls or what ever else you have in the room if you can't match then use earth tones. Also make sure you pick a color that is easy to keep clean. Never get to much of the same color in a room.

Q:I don't have one yet. I'm new to this. Why do we need a rug anyways?: The place of prayer must be clean from impurities. If the place is clean, you don't need nothing at all. And according to a hadith (sayings of the Prophet (pbuh)) the whole earth had been made a prayer mat (a place of prayer), meaning Muslims can pray anywhere they want, provided the place is clean. But how can one be assure all places are clean? So it became a tradition to use prayers rags. Some Muslims do carry prayer rags with them wherever they go too, because , without much concern about the cleanliness of the place, one can simply spread the rags just anywhere and begin praying. So, yes. You can use a yoga mat. No problem. You can also do yoga exercises too. No problem with that, but avoid saying mantras which can be 'shirk'. Allah knows best.

Q:I bought a turquoise accent rug from target and it's bleeding onto my tile. The label says spot clean only but if I put it in the washing machine will all of the color come out? Is there any other way to clean it?: Hmm. I have bought the same type of rug only in a dark blue with the note to spot clean. I had the same thing happen except on linoleum. I didn't really pay much for it so I thought I'd try washing it on a gentle cycle, the materials it was made from was pretty durable (don't know what yours is made of) so I washed alone and added vinegar to the wash (which is said will set the color). I washed mine on a medium load to make sure the water completely covered the rug, add the vinegar to the water as its filling. I poured mine in but if I had to guess I used about 2 cups and don't use detergent. I stopped the cycle and let the rug sit in the solution for about 1/2 hour then continued the wash cycle. I thought it did a good job. I used the vinegar/water wash a few times and noticed that it did help with the bleeding. Good luck whatever you end up doing.

Q:one of my cats uses area rugs for a litterbox. I have a multi cat household , I use large shallow tubs for litter boxes and they are cleaned daily. I am only having problems with one cat: Obviously, the throw rug seems more natural to the cat than a litter box does. Get a new litter box, and place it on the throw rug. Also, make sure it has a different type of litter in it. This can be clumping/non clumping, scented/non scented, shallow/deep, and the such. My uneducated guess is that your scat cat, is just wanting a place all it's own... ;) More litter boxes and scooping more than ONCE a day is necessary for this finicky cat. Hope this helps,

Q:I left for a few weeks and left my friend at my house.She brought her dog and cat.I have no money.And my carpet is ruined (along with my coach lol).Any tips on how to clean carpets (with no carpet cleaning machine)?HELP PLZ.: It'd help to know what exactly is in your carpet - do the hairs bother you or has it been peed on - or worse!? For hair, the best thing I've ever tried is scraping carpet with a rubber-soled shoe. Once you've done a bit the hair all clumps together and can be picked off by hand - not as much hassle as it sounds! For pee you'll have to wash it, which is a hassle without a proper wet vac. First check if any friends or family have one you can borrow, or if there are any companies nearby which will hire one out to you. If not, try using something like Shake 'n' Vac, which is a powder that you sprinkle on the carpet and then hoover off with a conventional vaccum cleaner. If you're still really desperate then you'll have to get a big bucket of warm soapy water, scrub it in with a big scrubbing brush, put a dry towel on it and stomp around on it to pull as much of the water back out of it as you can, then wait a very long time for it to dry out again completely. This is a massive pain in the a*se though, so try the other methods first and maybe stick to just washing any really bad bits with water if you have to!
