3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.
- Q: How do you clean the stubborn stains on the carpet in a simple way?
- If you have a pet at home, you know, pets smell when they play on the carpet. Pour four cups of vinegar in four litres of warm water. Soak the towel and wring it. Wipe the carpet over and over, then leave it in the air for dry airing. In addition to eliminating the peculiar smell of pets and carpets after a long period of use, this method can prevent carpet fading and discoloration. If the pet pee on the carpet, the new urine stains can be washed with warm water or 10% ammonia water, but for a long time, stains should first be washed with detergent, and then washed with ammonia. If it is a pure wool carpet for citric acid cleaning.
- Q: What carpet is good for sound absorption?
- Sound absorption effect is good, if sound absorption is large, then you can choose a thick, porous structure, loose carpet.
- Q: We are building a new home and selected a stainmaster 50 ounce nylon carpet for the rooms that will be carpeted. Anyone have any opinions on this carpeting or personal experiences? We are carpeting the living room and bedrooms--we're very happy with that decision, just wondering about the quality or wearability of the carpet if anyone knows.
- A okorder If you live within 200 miles its worth the drive, thats for sure.
- Q: When my carpets are cleaned at first, they are perfectly clean and I have a friend who owns a carpet company who doesn't just steam clean the carpets. After a few months, the same stains seem to re-emerge from where they were before as if they were cleaned on the surface but re-surfaced.I have 2 cats where I have cleaned hairballs, and a lot of throwing up, and I think that's what the stains are from. I use the MIracle stuff for cat stains/odors and it seems to work at first, but again they come up especially in the hallway upstairs. The rest of my my carpets are not bad, even after a year. I take good care of them and keep them as clean as possible but these round stains in various places make it look really bad! How can I make them go away permanently. I'm tired of hiring expensive carpet cleaners where they look great for a month or so; then these same spots seem to come back plus additional hairballs which I try to catch as soon as I can.Thanks.
- I think everyone should invest in a Bissell carpet steamer. They're no more expensive than a vacuum cleaner, and they sure do come in handy for cleaning tough stains in carpets. There's a special Pet Formula detergent they sell (I think Walmart sells it in a generic formula, too), that does a great job of getting up cat stains. It's a lifesaver for me.
- Q: Where is the cheapest place to buy rugs?
- Dollar stores, family dollar has very nice ones.
- Q: I got a puppy and a kitten at basically the same time, so needless to say, the carpets need to be deorderized so they will not be tempted to keep peeing on them again.I heard you needed to basically douse it in Natures Miracle, let that dry and then sprinkle baking soda on it for 2 days then vacuum up. But when i sprayed it down the carpet got ripply and did not dry flat for some reason... it seems like it is ruined! What do i do now with this carpet? is there a way to make it flat again? and how do i deodorize the rest of them in the house? Please help

- Q: i have already tried a couple carpet cleaners and they have seemed to make the stain worse. please help!
- Try rubbing alcohol - or if you don't have any in the house use hairspray. Put it on a cloth or cotton ball and blot.
- Q: I know it doesnt matter as long as I like it but I want your opinion :)Its kind of plain but Im just wondering…
- It's okorder
- Q: Okay, so that's 2 questions in one. Don't hold it against me. Instead, please suggest a cleaner (or a home-made recipe/solution) for cleaning and shining stainless steel small appliances (coffee maker, panini maker, barmen's toolset, and some others) and for how to get set-in stains out of a small oriental rug. Don't know the composition of the stains; they've been there for awhile. They are on a white-ish background. Thanks!
- No idea about the rug, but a company called simple human makes a cloth that you can use with just water to shine up/clean all your stainless steel appliances. There aren't any chemicals involved! You can also use a small bit of olive oil to a cloth and use that to clean and shine them, then wipe with a clean dry cloth. Weird, but it works. I have a small steam cleaner for my rugs that works pretty well. I'd try one of the oxy type cleaners.
- Q: I'd like to know how REAL fur coats, bear skin rugs, etc. are made (by hand not industrial process) as I don't believe its tanning like in leather as it requires the fur to be stripped. I know the animal is killed and harvested, but someone please start after that and tell me as I'm trying to do research for a story I'm working on and I have no experience at this aspect. And if you have an idea of how long they last I'd appreciate it. Also, are they as soft and flexible as it seems or are they harder like leather? Thank you. Also I know its a cruel process and all so please no sarcasm.
- Many of us wear them, but we don't actually make them into coats or rugs. They're ALREADY sold in stores ready to wear. My very first fur coat was from a curly lamb suede outside, fur inside.
