Q: How to buy a carpet
Of the two kinds, the sofa will have to drag on, a great carpet merchant. Finally is the material selection, this is not right; second is the size, and the rest is the overall style of the housing decoration to determine the style and color of the carpet.
Q: would it have dried out?my dad paid for it, and it was fairly pricey compared to the other rugs we normally get, so if it's ruined he's going to go off.. gt;.lt;also, i was wondering if you could rug a wet horse?like if the rug was dry, and the horse was wet from the rain, could you throw the rug on her?or would you have to dry her off first? thanks!
Most modern rugs are synthetic so don't get moldy easily but they can take a long time to dry and if they aren't hung up outside can get that smell your clothes get if you leave them in the washing machine over night. Depending how cold/damp your tack shed is and how thick the rug is it could still be wet. I'm lucky that I can rent a heater to dry my rug in a day (and I need it because I only have one turnout) If you must rug a wet horse use a wicking rug (cooler) or a string rug under a sheet or fleece. You will have to change the rug in 15-30 mins and if the horse was very wet or if they had sweated up again you may have to replace it with another cooler. You mustn't ever rug a wet horse and just leave them. If the horse is unclipped on a mild day or (partly-)clipped of a warm day you could turn them out unrugged while still a bit damp (but they should have been properly cooled down and no longer be sweating.) EDIT: wow zakiit thatching (putting straw under the rug) is really old-school - I thought string anti-sweat rugs were old fashion. As my niece and nephew would say your so dead - it means old-fashion apparently. I told them I wasn't old fashion I'm retro - you can be retro too :-)
Q: I heard that if someone spilled paint on their rugs their insurance will pay for new rugs minus deductable. DId you ever hear of this?
You might be able to but chances are very, very good that you'll get dropped immediately after your policy is set to expire and you'll pay the devil to get new insurance. Just get it cleaned.
Q: it rained and water got in my carpet . it is humid/wet it smells bad how do i wash the carpet?
Rent a steam cleaner and purchase white vinegar. Sprinkle baking soda all over the humid wet carpet. let is soak into the carpet. Then using the steam cleaner and white vinegar start using the steam cleaner and try to soak up most all of the wetness. If you have a carpet padding under the carpet you will need to roll up the carpet and hang it over a dry area outside or in the garage to totally dry. As for the carpet padding you will need to try to suck out the wetness from that too and get it dry. Even using old towels will help. If you can also pull the padding up it will dry better too. When both the padding and carpet is dry. Sprinkle baking soda on the floor after it is cleaned and then lay the carpet padding back down. Sprinkle more baking soda down over the padding so this will help kill any bacteria and smells. Replace the carpet and vacuum the carpet and it should have taken care of the wet carpet and smells. However the carpet got wet it should be fixed that it will not happen again. Carpets and padding don't last long after so much water has set into the carpet and padding. That is why it should be thoroughly dry before putting them back down on the floor. Yes this sounds like a lot of work, and it is but the water needs to be completely out of the floor and padding, and carpeting to last as long as you can keep it in good condition. It will also help your floors to not mold.
Q: Who has the glue formula for laying the carpet?
Production process:The water is added to the reaction pot, the temperature is raised to 70 DEG C, and then slowly added to the polyvinyl alcohol, and the temperature is increased to 90~95 DEG C, so that the PVA is completely dissolved.Cooling the polyvinyl alcohol solution to 80~85 DEG C, dropping hydrochloric acid, stirring for 20 minutes, adding formaldehyde for condensation, takes about 60 minutes.
Q: cleaning rugs/my wine/ pets?
If you are going to keep the rugs, then get rid of the messy animals, if you keep the animals then get rid of the rugs. The two do not go very well together. Urine, vomit, feces, what's this world coming to, does everyone keep a zoo in the home?
Q: Iam looking for others that can help and inspire a begninng rug hooker. I just completed my first project using burlap and wool yarn. I cannot find the same burlap or yarn in the area so would love to find some via internet or the SC/GA area. Walmart carries a very flismy burlap which I do not like, and acrylic yarns which split

Q: My carpet is only 4 1/2 years old and in good shape with no big stains. My only complaint is that it's too light. Someone suggested having my carpet dyed a darker color, but I've never heard of anyone doing that before. Has anyone had this done before or know anyone who has? If so, what are the pro's and con's? Thanks :)

Q: My wife and I have a 5' X 7' area rug which we want to dye brown. It's a deep pile wool rug and the fibers are dense. How does one go about this? We would have it done professionally but there are no skilled people where we live. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
you'll okorder . honestly though i'd get a small bottle and test a corner before investing in a whole rug, cause the chemicals to do dark colors like this can get seriously expensive since it can take two or three dips to do it. good luck!
Q: is it good to use a very thin carpet at home?
It's not very comfortable and warm to step up, but you don't need to worry about worms or something like that. it is easier to clean up with a vacuum cleaner. thin carpet can't be used long, it may be broken a few months later, and others are almost the same.
