Make sure that you regulaly clean the wood floors in order to prevent dust accumulation. We recommand to clean a small part
of stains as a testing ground to prevent too much chromatic aberration.
Dust and stain— use a hard brush dipped in warm soapy water to remove it.
Mildew— scrub with ordinary wood mode class agents, or bleach to rinse or wipe it directly.
Chalk stains—In addition to the while chalk, other colors can not be removed, you can use bleaching agent with hot soapy
water to wash it.
Ice or snow—Apply calcium chloride or rock salt, it can melt ice or snow, then use hot soapy water to wash it.
Stain soil and dirts— Apply detergent, which contains oxalic acid or phosphoric acid. Whiping the stain for 10-15 mins.
Greasy and oil-based stains—immediately use household cleaning products with hot soapy water to wash it.
Juice and wine stains—Mixed the bleach stain agent and hot soapy water to dilute the stain and wipe.

- Q: My mom installed peel n stick (DIY) tile on top of linoleum flooring. About a year later, she wants the job done right, so she is trying to pull the tiles up to install snap together wood flooring down. The problem is that now the old linoleum is too sticky to walk on. My question is how do I get the stickyness off of the linoleum and has anyone had any problems with the snap together wood flooring? Thanks in advance, God bless you all!
- If you're putting flooring down on top, why does the stickiness matter? I think you're going to have to use quite a bit of some kind of solvent to get the sticky off, not a fun job. I'd just put the new flooring right on top. Mind you, I think I would have put the new flooring on without trying to remove the peel and stick tiles.

- I was just there last night (: Actually, every floor has a bit of everything. I believe the second floor (going down) had a ton of sunglasses and necklaces and just accessories. There were also clothes on that floor though. I know Heritage 1981 is on the third floor going down and I THINK Love 21 is on the second floor. But they don't really have a theme. - That black stuff is the glue/rubber cement. You can paint over it but you will have the texture of the glue to deal with. You can go to your local equipment rental store (united/sunbelt/nations rent) and get a floor sander with a cement scrubber pad to clean all this off and then paint it and it will be like new after you put the sealer on it.

- Sorry, it's been a while since I've done floor & ceiling, but I believe that these functions take a number and either round it down to the integer (floor) or round it up. ie: floor would take 2.1, 2.4, 2.7, 2.9 and make them all equal to 2, and ceiling would make all of those numbers equal to 3. Only difference is if it is an even integer, than it stays that integer. The way I see it, there are NO numbers that satisfy the first one. This is because the floor function automatically lowers a number (takes 3.4 and makes it 3, or also takes -1.4 and makes it -2) so if you add .5 to it, it is automatically going to be higher. If x was 2.3, floor (x) = 2, but 2.3 +.5 = 2.8. These aren't equal For the Ceiling function, it is every integer that ends in .5. IE: say x=1.5. Ceiling (1.5) = 2, and 1.5 + .5 =2 - They are equal. Similarly, if x= - 2.5, Ceiling (-2.5)= -2, and -2.5 + .5 = -2. - they are equal. So I guess the way you'd say it is that the answer is i+.5 where i is the set of all integers. Something like that. - Q: The previous owner of my house painted the cement slab garage floor. Now the paint is peeling off and looks bad. I would like to seal the floor with an epoxy-based sealant. Can I seal over top of the paint, or do I need to have the paint sandblasted off first?
- They make some really good floor paints. If I were you I would clean any loose paint off the floor clean it real well with a solvent to remove any oils and then wash with a good detergent. Rinse really well to remove any residue. Then when you repaint it with a floor finish it will act as a sealer and look really good. To remove all the paint with sand blasting would probably hurt the finish on the concrete and not look very good. This is the process I would use. I have painted many garage floors. I worked in a complex with one hundred and sixteen units all with painted floors. Good luck

- Don't tile your countertops- you will regret it! The grout is hard to clean, not to mention unsanitary. Do yourself a favor and opt for some sort of solid surface- corian, granite, or quartz. If that is not in your budget there are really nice laminates out there. But, matching your countertops and flooring color-wise is a good decision.
