Properties :

Slip resistance:
Boards of Techwoodn according to ASTM D2394-05. This is the best ranking for bare-foot slip resistance.
Weathering resistance:
Boards of Techwoodn have very low moisture uptake.This is key for mold and mildew resistance.
UV resistance:
4000 hours accelerated Xenon-arc Exposure,the Boards turned slightly more clear and colored.
Abrasion resistance:
The resistance to abrasion is similar to oak.
Fungus resistance:
Whatever fungus the wood composite is exposed to,it is extremely durable.
Moreover,aging test does not affect this durability.

. Is it difficult to install the wpc board?
No, it is easy to install. Using the tool which you use to install the real wood. Fix the board on the substructure with clips.

- Q:It a good neighborhood. I really don't want to have to go up two flights of stairs everyday. I would be leaving with my bf so he could really do the grocery since he prefers the third floor.:)...i don't know how secure i would feel on the 1st floor........idk need advice.......

- Q:Bedroom is 14' x 16'. How many sheets of plywood would it take to do the flooring? What is the best size for thickness of flooring?Thanks for your help.
- 8 sheets and I'm going to say 3/4 plywood, now a days called 23/32 but a lot depends on whats under the floor now? Sub Floor? Joists? What are your final intentions as far as finished flooring are? Carpet? tile? Is it a mobile home or pier and beam construction? feel free to email with any more questions but anyhow it will take 8 sheets and 3/4 is the way to go, and more than likely is what is there now!! - There is a special tool you can find in a Home store. Ask them. Would be worth buying if you have a lot. I have seen it being used, sort of like a scraper on a long handle. Doubt it would be very expensive.

- If what you have now is all secure and super in place, then you could go over with ceramic. Make sure you have enough room to raise the floor (over refridgerators especially)... - laminate flooring consists of a wood composite core. then it has a computer generated graphic applied over the wood core. then a melamine resin wear surface is added. if its a click board only two companies hold the patent to make the board and all companies buy from thees two companies. the price difference comes from the quality of the picture, the number of different pictures a run will contain, and the ac rating on a scale of 1 to 4. to install it you must let it sit in the room for 72 hrs. then you must leave an expansion joint around the whole room usually a quarter inch. all edges must be covered with molding or trim. door jams must be undercut. and you must use an underlayment foam. if you need more help feel free to contact me.
