Q: My home is solid wood, and today the students come home to play, sitting on a small plastic stool, a small stool at the bottom of four black rubber. My classmates are not honest, sit on the stool, the results of the ground polished. It is not too obvious but it is really nailed to try the jealousy of Germany. How do you ask for help! Greatful! Q: Hi, I might be installing a floating floor that uses plastic connectors to join each plank. They lock together great, however I can still feel the separation between each plank. Can I add clear lacquer to the floor after it is completely installed to give it a uniform feel?
Lacquer is not a durable finish and shouldn't be used on floors.Poly Urethane is the recommended finish. Having said that, a large number of these types of floors come pre-finished and may even have a PVC embossed coating on them to simulate grain. I would check with the manufacturer to see what they recommend. Some manufacturers will void the warranty if you put another finish over theirs.
Q: what does it mean, that your pool has a sponge floor?
Obviously the floor of the pool isnt made of sponge, so I have no idea. Is that something that someone said, or what? Where did the question come from? If it is something somebody said to you, it's probably just meant in a discriptive sense. I did a search on google, nothing came up.
Q: Like for floor(x)are they removable discontinuities.Are the continuous from the left and right. Please help I don't understand.
Floor functions don't have removable discontinuities, they have jump discontinuities. If you're referring to the greatest integer function, ?x?, that would be a floor function, which is closed on the left, open on the right [a, a+1), { a | a ∈ ? }
Q: I only go to my dance studio three times a week but i need a floor to practice on that is in mine or my friends home. is wood floor or linoleum fine? I'm afraid carpet will ruin my jazz shoes. please answer as quick as you can. thanks ~ XOXO Jani
Wood floor is always best for dancing because your feet slide with less resistance than with linoleum, tile or carpet. Than is why dance studios have wood floors. However, dancing is very hard on wood floors and they have to be refinished often when used for dancing. Years ago, when dancing was popular at parties, people put cornmeal on the wood floor to make it easier to move your feet..
Q: what type of flooring would stand up to tap shoes the best?
Laminate is very durable.
Q: Decorate the house. Apply paint with the glue, spread to the tiles, dry for a long time, how can not go, who can think of ways more
Glue get to the ground to remove the method: 1,100 degrees of water boiled soft, and then flat shovel eradication. 2, alcohol cleaning is the best way, with 95% of the amount of alcohol first wet adhesive site, soak for about a minute, and then use your fingers or other slightly hard things will be ticked, and then a small piece of cloth Dipped in alcohol can be wiped. 3, with the banana water droplets in the glue on the same time with the old toothbrush constantly stirring, until the glue trace soft off, and then clean water, repeated scrub, brush so far.
Q: Is there anything on the market that lets you huge marks on floors? My freind dropped something in my perfect living room floor and now it has a ugly mark.
If it's a hardwood floor, I've been told by flooring specialists that you can leave little puddle of water on the dented spot for a couple of days and it will cause the wood to swell back out, removing the dent. Just cover it with an upside down plastic bowl or something to keep from stepping in it. I tried this once with a hardwood floor (maple) and it took some of the dent up. Otherwise, you're looking at refinishing the floor (hardwood) or replacing a section of laminate.
Q: I have a small house that is 3 feet off the ground on a permanent foundation (insulfoam block). It is completely enclosed and has a vapor barrier on the dirt under the house. The floor is a standard wood floor with floor joists and has carpet and pad on it. I notice that the house is warm....but the floor is cool and it feels breezy at floor level. I was wondering if insulating the floor under the house may help?
The floor is cool and breezy due to natural convection. Warm air raises, cool air sinks, so the coolest part of your house will be the floors unless you have radiant floor heating. I am not familiar with the insulfoam brand, but this sounds like an insulated concrete wall. This being the case, your house is probably fairly new and insulated better than an older house. The insulated foundation should be adequate for floor insulation in terms of efficiency. Adding floor insulation may improve the temperature of the floor in heating season by just a bit, but not enough to make a huge difference. Short version, if you want to insulate to get a marginal improvement in the floor temperature, go for it. Don't expect to recover your cost through a lower heating bill.
Q: House decoration brush or paint the first floor when the first floor?
This one. The The I think it does not matter
