Q:My parquet floor is expose to water and moisture due to rain water getting on them. Resulting with small 'polka dots' like damage on the surface. Is there any way that I can DIY repair it? Cos getting the professionals are too expensive.: Parquet floors are easily damaged by exposure to moisture. There is a point where you can't fix them, they have to be replaced. They pick up the dirt for the first few feet and the grind tiny scratches into your floor with the grit they picked up. Thus dulling the illustrious sheen...making your floor look like a bore.

Like really cheap.Thanks!: how tall are these adults? generally speaking floor hockey sticks have an inexpensive wood shaft and plastic blade. even the better ones by Mylec or Koho will be about $15 new and in hockey you want a stick to reach your chin and so even in you're gonna be playing in shoes they are only good for people up to 5'10 or so. oh and as far as where to get them? Sports Authority or Craig's List .. with the size of sticks OKorder might initially be a better deal but when you factor in shipping it will cost you more that way.

Can you just rinse it off?: Whenever something falls on the floor bacteria will go on it immediately, but when its cooked the bacteria should leave it altogether. So yeah just rinse it off and cook it, should be fine. Unless you have some poison on your floor or something ridiculous.

Q:The floors are brand new laminate floors, only about 2 months old. We just moved in here and our realtor told us to use Orange Glo to make them shiny. Biggest mistake I have ever made. It looked great at first but now the floors look like crap. They are hazy, no longer shiny, and collect dirt like you wouldn't believe. I just now used ammonia, vinegar, baking soda and water to remove the left over wax build up. It helped a little and right after I did that I went over the floors with Bruce laminate cleaner. I thought it worked really well until I walked over the floor and then looked back and saw my foot prints all over the floor. So my question is, why on these newly cleaned floors can you see my foot print where ever I walk and what can I do to stop that? Also, do you have any suggestions on removing the wax buildup? Thanks: Biggest problem with laminate floors is knowing what KIND they are! are they totally smooth or have a grain to them? Are they almost plastic' or feel like real wood. the totally smooth kind have to be treated like no-way floors-- but not until they are cleaned properly.... use regular floor cleaner like 409 or Mr. Clean--- THEN use a Barely Damp Mop with JUST clean water- rinsing frequently... you want all the old gunk OFF! Drying with towels helps too. Then use something for no-wax floors. Ask at Home Depot or Lowes for a good product. If they are the more realistic' wood laminate-- follow the first steps, clean, rinse, dry.... then use something made FOR laminate floors... again, ask at Home Depot/Lowes and explain the previous issues.... in between mopping- use a dry push dust-mop to keep up dust (or a swiffer- but I don't like buying the refills!) You can even use a light mist of spray cleaner on the floor with a dust mop to get up foot prints and 'spruce up between mopping! Good Luck!

Q:I'm building a house on Sims 2. Once i completed the walls for level 1 of the house, i moved up to the second level to build there but for some reason the floor tile grid is not complete. I can't build the walls as the floor has gaps in it. Does anyone know why this is? and how can i prevent it?: It's both that you just should not have a wall at the first ground, you'll be able to placed a kind of columns within the construct mode to position help on your second ground. Or it is that you just constructed a staircase there. Hope I helped! :)

Q:So I have a 2000 pontiac firebird, and I seriously need a plastic floor covering that will cover under the seats, and everything not just a silly 'floor mat'Do any of you guys know where to buy this at?? Because most places just sell a mat, not a covering like carpet but plastic carpet.: There are dozens of places where you can buy complete interior repair kits or new carpeting for your car. I suggest using Google or Bing to find them.
