IF you are creative, you could paint the floor with polyurethane, but as far as the old finish goes, it's done for. If it is in a spot that can be covered with a mat, then do so..if not, have a new floor installed. IF you are strapped for cash, then try clear poly in an inconspicuous area....if it holds, then do the whole floor...that may restore it to one finish.
