Boards of Techwoodn according to ASTM D2394-05. This is the best ranking for bare-foot slip resistance.

- Hi, I just use warm water and vinegar 1 cup to a gallon. It works well and I prefer something that is natural. I just use a mop that is well wrung out so it is just damp. You do not want to wet floors. I sometimes buff up with a towel attached to my swifter. Soap-based products and citrus based products leave a residue on laminate making them look dull. It may take a few washings to get rid of the film. It is good to use warm water as it evaporates more quickly.
- Q: We are trying to repair the kitchen floor in our new house. When we pulled up the linoleum rug (which covered only half the floor), we discovered there was tile below. My husband busted up part of the tile to see if the floor under it matched the hardwood in the rest of the house (including the other half of the kitchen). Apparently the tiles were placed on top of a layer of plaster. There is a wooden floor/subfloor below the plaster but when the tiles and plaster are removed, it leaves the floor uneven with the hardwood by almost an inch. We were going to put down plywood to even the floor and put the new flooring (laminate tiles) on top of that but after checking prices, that's not really feasible for us on our budget. Does anyone have any cheaper solutions?
- the only lasting way to do it is 1/2' plywood in 2 layers laid out so the seams don't line up. remodeling is EXPENSIVE trust me i know. you'll just have to live with it until you can afford to do it right.
- Q: What can you do to fix laminate flooring that has started to buckle?
- Replace the damaged boards. (if laminate floating floor boards.) This involves removing all the boards until you get to the ones that need changing though... maybe you could cover them with a mat or rug? If it is simple flat laminate, absolutely nothing can be done as the surface has stretched.

- If she is using the litter box for urination then you have a medical problem, not a litter box problem. There are two common medical conditions, and since you stated she has defecation more on the diarrhea side, that rules out constipation. That leave impacted anal glands, and with runny feces, there isn't pressure to drain the glands that normally happens during defecation. Time for a vet trip. And treatment, if impacted anal grands, it really trivial and inexpensive.

- the reason why the floor squeaks is because the subfloor has come loose from the joists. You can add more screws to the the flooring in the loose spots, that usually does the trick. Tool Belt Diva
