Q: Ok so our Dyson hoover has finally given up. We want a new hoover that isn't as heavy as a Dyson. We tried the smaller Dyson's today but they aren't powerful enough because we have 2 pets you see. So we tested the HOOVER DM6228 and that seemed ok. Any reviews or any recommendations of vacuum cleaners? I live in Britain by the way.
Hi there, Sorry to hear about your Dyson. If you get in touch with us free , I'm sure we can help. However, if you're considering purchasing a new cleaner, you might like to take a look at our website to learn more about our current range.
Q: The line graph shows the typical daily electricity demand in England during the winter and summer season, while the pie chart illustrates the different proportions of electricity used for the most frequent activities in an average English home.Comparing the two trends of electricity demand in the first graph, it is evident that during winter the electricity consumption doubles. Over the day, during either summer or winter, the lowest levels are recorded in the morning, between 8:00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. Conversely, the peak hours are different between the two periods.
try and write it like this: The line graph shows the typical daily electricity demand in England during the winter and summer season, while the pie chart illustrates the different proportions of electricity used for the most frequent activities in an average English home. Comparing the two trends of electricity demand in the first graph, it is evident that during winter the electricity consumption doubles. Over the day, during either summer or winter, the lowest levels are recorded in the morning, between 8:00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. Conversely, the peak hours are different between the two periods. During the summer, electricity consumption peaks around 10:00 P.M; during winter the highest levels of demand are reached both in the afternoon at 4 p.m. and in the evening at 10:00 p.m. The pie chart shows that heating is by far the most electricity-consuming activity in an average English house (52.5 %). Clearly, this figure explains the reason why the electricity demand is higher during the small spans of time previously mentioned in the graph. The rest of the activities and devices used in the house, such as ovens, lighting and vacuum cleaners, use almost the same proportion of electricity, less than 16 %.
Q: I was just wondering why they are so afraid of hoovers/vacuum cleaners. My dogs are frightened of it.
Dogs have hearing a thousand times better than humans. It hurts there ears so the dog will either be afraid of it or attack it.
Q: why are some dogs afraid of vacuum cleaners?
coz of the noise.....and the fact that it can move....and that its sucks- 3 very strange facts when your the size of a dog and can smell and hear SOOOO much greater than a human.
Q: Oke this sounds kinda dumb but i was wondering..IF i had a space suit which would make me able to ''fly'' just a few cm above jupiter, and i wouldnt fall in it. if i had a vacuum cleaner with me, HOW fast would it need to go to suck up some air of jupiter?ik gravity is terribly strong but still.. with the right speed it can be escaped right ?
Vacuum cleaners don't suck up air. Vacuum cleaners move a stream of gas through a filter. What you want is a gas compressor of some kind. There are compressor designs for widely differing gas pressures, and there is one for the conditions you may find above Jupiter at your unspecified altitude.
Q: IF it's worth the investment, do people have suggestions on which to buy?
I okorder /... Hope this was helpful ~~~~
Q: Okay, I won't tell you who thinks what, but one of us think that you should dust your furniture, before you vacuum that way whatever dust gets on the floor its vacuumed up. The other thinks you vacuum before you dust...So which is it, do you dust before you vacuum or after? Please help this is so small but I would just like to do one of those kinda I told you so things.. Its a wife thing!
Dust FIRST then vacuum! Otherwise you get all the dust up off the floor and then put more dust on it again by dusting. Start from the top, go to the bottom. Floor last.
Q: hair cut for long periods of time just to buy a new one???
Ad dyson for $165??? where?? I'd let my pubies grow for a year to score one of those bad larry's for so cheap.
Q: I need to buy a new vacuum because the dirt devil I have doesnt work. I would like some feedback before I buy a new one. I'm looking to spend around $100 dollars. Any preferred models or brands?
I bought a Eureka last winter because it was the one recommended by Consumer Reports. I use it daily and have been very happy. It was $140. Your best bet is to go to the library, go to the reference desk and ask the lady for the consumer reports on vacuums and she will very nicely look it up for you. Or you can subscribe to their website for $5 for a month and research it yourself. It will also depend on whether you mostly vacuum hard floor (vinyl, hardwood) or soft (carpets). You won't be sorry if you do a little checking around first. The super expensive Orecks and Kirbys are nice, but I don't think they're 5-6 times better, which is how much more you'll pay.
Q: my friends told me this and when i didnt kno what it was they laughed at me
420 which is April 20th is a day which is kinda like a holiday for those who smoke pot. We all smoke a lot of pot and voice our opinions on how pot should be legalized. With vacuum cleaners... I have no idea are you sure they weren't referring to some sort of smoking device that they call the vacuum cleaner.
