- Q: I get the downloads usually from mod the sims 2 but I find it frustrating as there is no-one to ask ,they refer one to the frequently answered questions .Mystifying statements such as you will find this under a rug or a picture!!!What on earth does this mean?
- ok when you unzip or un rar the file it goes into programs/eagames/sims2/do= wnloads or wherever your sims2 is located. then it should show up in game u= nder the matching catagory. like when i just put new pictures for wall in a= nd they are under the picture section in buy mode. the new skins are in the= make a new family mode with the astrix. the new archectecture is under build mode. if they are not showing you can try the loop symbol for the main catagory it shows everything not broken by type like all plants all wall hanging all rugs in that section. double check you have them in the eagames sims2 download folder not in temp or elsewhere WHEN YOU ARE IN DECORATING MODE JUST TAP TO OPEN THE COROSPONDING PICTURE...RUGS HAVE RUGS PICTURE FRAME HAS WALL THINGS LIKE POSTERS AND PAINTINGS, THE FLOWERS HAS FLOOR AND TABLE STUFF LIKE VASES AND CANDLES. IT IS PRETTY SIMPLE SET UP.

- There should be a tag somewhere on the rug with cleaning instructions. Generally, if something says washable, it means machine washable. Go to the JC Penney site and look for your rug. The larger ones have to be washed in a large commercial washer. If you do the smaller ones at home, I would wash two at a time to keep the washer balanced.

In my guest room and rental room i got a lower grade but with scotch guard for about 1.50 q ft. With installation it was roughly $2000.00. I would call around, sometimes companies have discounts or sales, half off.

- There are many nice machine made rugs that are not very expensive.You can find them at department stores, which often have sales, and home improvement stores -- which are good ones for high traffic areas. Hand made ones will be more expensive, it's all in how much you can afford.

- That depends on what the stains are from. If they are from food, some oxygen type cleaners can lighten them, If they are from bleeding of the dyes in the rug colors (which can happen with some inexpensive wool oriental type carpets), there is not much you can do. If it is pet stains, a good professional cleaning company can often remove them. I have owned a lot of oriental carpets and I highly recommend finding a professional cleaner who specializes in cleaning them. It usually costs about $100 to have an 8 x 11 carpet cleaned, but they can make them look (and smell) like new. I don t think you should try to clean the rug with any water based cleaners or shampooing. Some one I know had a rug very much like yours and when they tried to damp shampoo it all of the red color bled into the white areas and ruined it.

- I don't think a purl stitch rug is a standard thing that would have a video. It sounds like a design made specifically for that book. The thing is, there is no need to purl a whole rug when it is generally easier to knit than to purl, and a purl is just the back side of a knit stitch. So you could knit the whole thing in whatever shape you like and just turn it over to have a purl stitch rug.

- The reason why a rug is used for salat is: 1. To provide a context for prayer. 2. A matter of tradition (many Muslims use other things that rugs). 3. To provide a limited space for prayer. The Qur'an does not compel Muslims to use a rug, but it does compel cleanliness during prayer, so I would strongly recommend you using a rug or its equivalent if it is available to you.
