Q: I am looking for the best carpet cleaner for cheap apartment carpeting, that I can use with my steam cleaner, I have asked this question, but I'm getting answers for just applying it to the stain and wiping it away, when accually I want to mix it in with water and use it with the carpet cleaner.The stains consist of dirt, pet stains, and other build up, please if you know of anything that works well, answer.: I have found that Oxiclean is probably the best solution. If you cant find it in a liquid form, try to dilute some in some HOT water and then adding it to the machine. Good luck.

Q: My 4 year old cat only pees in his litter box once after the litter is changed. Then he pees on everything! From rugs, to carpet, to clothes left on the floor. We've washed every rug he's peed on, just in case it's a territorial thing, but he just won't stop.: i agree with amy k it sounds like he isn';t liking the litter, my female 18 month old was doing the same thing only it was on beds. I asked around and found out some interesting things. When you wash the rugs afterwards spray an oder nutraliser like feliway or piss off this nutralises any oders that the cat can smell. Like dogs cats have a way more sensitive nose to us so he can probably still smell his urine on there. This stuff works well and can be bought from a good pet shop. Also i switched my litter to the crystals. My cats had to get used to it because they were used to the clumping litter but the crystals draw away the oder and draw the wee to the bottom so it lasts longer. Q: i took my carpet there was carpet underneath it looks pretty good but . but how do i get the glue marks off any suggestions: I don't quite understand--they glued carpet TO carpet? That's the laziest thing I've ever heard. Carpet adhesive can't be removed from carpeting, you have to tear it all out and replace it. Keep going and see if you hit hardwood floors, much better looking.

Q: what to do if the carpet smells like beer?: Have you ever had the experience of spilling the beer on the carpet? and if you have done that, then it is probably the residue caused by the delayed cleaning up. If there is no such experience, then it may be the material that is not promptly cleaned up or the bad glue.

Q: My couch is black leather. I have a glass top coffe table with black legs. My tv is black, and the TV stand is black w/ a very dark wood. Also some other dark wooden misc peices that match. I want to paint the walls a fire engine red to make the room pop, but I also need a rug. I've been searching every store everywhere, but NOTHING seems to match. We tried several animal prints, but it ended up look tacky. Second of all Rit NEVER dyes anything black. It always comes out shades of gray.

Q: My cat is 2 1/2 yrs old and I've had him since he was 6 months old. Within this past couple of months he started pooping for some reason on one of my kitchen rugs. I've tried everything to correct this. I've used Nature's Miracle, Vinegar, other pet odor removers, put food in the spot so he would avoid the area, and not only changed litters but changed to scoopable. NOTHING has helped!! HELP...I'm at my wits end!!!: You need to take your kitten to the vet. Cats will stop using a litter box if they have any kind of infection because it hurts to go to the bathroom and they associate the box with the pain. Their thinking is if they go somewhere else, they won't have pain because they figure the box is somehow hurting them. Any time a cat goes to the bathroom outside the box on a regular basis, the first step is seeing the vet to rule out any sickness/infection. If it's not an illness, your vet can offer suggestions to correct the behavioural issue.

I'd go will some soft silk drapes that gently flow and maybe puddle on the floor in a cream, gray or tan, with a contrasting colored tassel to hold them back. If you want a printed drape, I'd still go silk and stick with a contemporary pattern. Rug options are limitless. When shopping for a rug, try to pull out a color in your other items. I find it is striking to have that be a small almost unnoticeable color in the rug, but it will pop because it is in another item. For example a printed rug that is predominantly brown, but has little hints of purple in it. Alone you might not notice the purple in the rug, but the pillows make it pop out. I'd go with abstract art given the contemporary nature of the couch... maybe a canvas giclee.
