Q: i'm looking for one almost exactly like this one, but if it's not totally the same I don't mind, I want with arms like this, I want brown, light or dark blue, grey or an earthy green color but I might end up reupholstering it. I'd hopefully want it to be under $280 but I'm willing to spend a bit more if it fits all the requirements, thanks so much!!

Q: the seat smells like strong poop...mainly because I did poop a little in it but anyway, hwo can I clean the brown suede chair without my other co-workers seeing me...well I do have my own office
Clean it with Fabreeze or, better still, Lysol. If anyone sees you, tell them you spilled water, and now that its wet, you decided to clean the whole chair. Do it on a Friday afternoon, that way its got all weekend to dry. That's embarrassing, I know.
Q: Anybody have a Adirondack Chairs Videos?maybe you have video about how to make a adirondact chairs using a wood.

Q: What was Van Gogh's goal for Chair ? What did he want it to become?
The chair reveals its owner Empty chairs are often seen as the personification of the people who own them, Van Gogh may have thought as he painted this canvas. Personal possessions, – in this case Gauguin’s – are used to characterize or ‘portray’ the owner. In the same period, Van Gogh also made a painting of his own empty chair, now in the National Gallery, London. This shows the same plain chair with a wickerwork seat that we see in The Bedroom.
Q: I am currently a freshman in high school. I am third chair clarinet in band overall. This is pretty good, and I am expected to do well. The only thing is, I'm not expected to get first chair until my senior year because the 2nd chair is a sophomore (the first chair is moving soon so he's not an issue) and she's expected to get first chair each year. While I do realize being third chair as a freshman is quite good, I don't want to wait until I'm a senior to make first chair. I know that next year there will be a freshman who is quite good (she's in eighth grade and already knows her scales 3 octaves) and may pose as competition. However I don't want to have to think that she is competition. I want to be able to know each time that I will be first chair. I want the sophomore above me to not always expect to be first chair. So my question is, what can I do to ensure that I am first chair? For our auditions we have sight-reading and scales with tone being taken into account considerably.
I okorder Here are some random tips to help you on your way! -Find the best private teacher in your area, preferably somebody who plays a principle part in a local symphony -Learn and memorize all of your Major, Natural Minor, Harmonic Minor, Melodic Minor scales and arrpegios, scales in thirds, etc. Also learn and practice all of the modes to get them down well. -Learn Music theory to understand the music better. Find a theory teacher, and work hard.
Q: I have some chairs that have cushions down half the back and on the seat. I want to recushion the top and make it wider and the cushion go all the way down to the seat. (Turn them into Parsons chairs) What would be the easiest way to do this?
I would use foam, wledbond, plywood, string, buttons and fabric. First measure the base of your chair at the seat and figure out the hieght you would like the parsons chairs to be. If you chair is 18 wide at the base, and you want them to be 24 high, then you would need your plywood to be 14 x 21 high {approx.}. You can get this cut for a fee {usually} at any lumber or home improvement store. Take the lumber and attach it to the chair with weldbond and clamps {and l have no idea of your chairs but weldbond works on metal and wood} or anything that will hold it tight while it hardens. Let this be glued firmly and completely dry...for extra security you can tie with rope {it will be covered with the foam} . Get some 2 {or more} thick foam and cut it so you have one long strip that is 50 long by 28 wide. Now on the inside seat part of the back of the chair, take a staple gun {or if you have little hands like me, use a nail and hammer} and attach string every four inches or so in a grid layout} Now take the foam and make holes with a knife or sizzors to line up with string. Take your weld-bond and spread it evenly over the plywood {be generous} front and back. Take the foam and lay it beginning on the inside bottom edge, pulling through the string as you apply it to the glued surface, bring it over the top, and then down the back of the chair, you will have excess on the sides and final bottom edge, but this can be trimmed later. leave to dry on the floor lightly tie and hold in place with string. Take fabric and cut to the same size, drape it in the same manner, making holes and pulling through string Attach with upholstorers nails. Tke the string and attach big beautiful funky buttons. They will look fabulous!!!
Q: Somebody recently gave me a good chair but the only thing is it stinks. The women had cats and she smoked. How can I get the nasty smells out of this chair?
Do you have a spot where you can put it outdoors for a few days? I would shampoo it with an extraction shampooer, febreeze it and let it sit outdoors for a few days.
Q: My husband has become addictd to fishing in free time recently. Yesterday he told me the chair he is using is not comfortable and asked me to buy him a new one. I search for a while, and found chairs with a cup holder look awesome
I think it is very comfortable and stable. We like to carry our camping chair in the trunk of car to have ready for different activities.
Q: The fabric is bolted to the chairs.
Try and rip them off. Or turning the chairs upside down and undoing the bolts. Then you can use the old fabric as a pattern to reupholster the chairs, and you can even spray paint it with krylon or rustoleum spray paint! Hope that helps!
Q: So I have a chair that I have sanded, washed, and primed. I would like to paint it with a cool design or pretty colors. My room is a lavender-ish purple and I would like the chair to go well with it. I was thinking blue, pink, or green for colors. Also plese keep in mind that I am a teenage girl. Thanks! Pictures as well as ideas would be greatly appreciated...
Girl, what color do YOU like. Don't let others pick went its your chair which goes in a room you already see the colors in. IMAGED what will look the best.
