Q:There's nothing to say about the carpet at the end of the bed
1, safety anti-skid. Walking on the carpet is not easy to slide, but also because of the soft and elastic carpet, will greatly reduce the possibility of injury caused by falls, especially for the elderly and children, can play a safe role. 2, shock absorption comfortable. On soft and elastic carpet, feel completely relaxed and comfortable, reduce fatigue, there will be no ground and frequently produced hit hard sole tremor.
Q:The problem with putting a rug on carpet is that the natural nap in the rug and the nap in the carpet work against each other. Makes bumps like you wouldn't believe (even if no one walks on it). Furniture on top of the rug makes it worse.Does anyone else have this problem and if so have you been able to fix it, or at least minimize the bumps on the rug?
You need to purchase a pad specifically for rugs on top of carpets. They are sold anywhere rugs are sold which includes Home Depot, Lowes, Bed, Bath Beyond and more. There are also pads for non carpeted floors so be careful to ask for the right pad. The pads come in defined sizes but can be cut to fit even the smallest rugs. They will keep your top rug from bunching and rolling and they are quite cheap.
Q:i have two ponies,, [its winter here]the Arab x welsh dosint care Ive only had her a little while i introduced rugs to her, but she defently seams more comfy wearing one and not as tired because she dosint have to bother keeping herself warm [shes in bad shape slowly gaining weight :)]and my shetland pony has been known for her rug fights :D she was an rescue loves her rugs very funny, she has a zillion rugs all for her :) even tough summer she will fight me for the rugs, she will grab onto it with her teeth and play tug of war [i dont tend to pull i wait until she's giving up]i really shouldn't of introduced rugs to her but she loves them :) she wont rip her rugs takes extra special care when going tough the gate entirely different when i put a saddle on gt;.gt;what about your horses?
My thoroughbred gelding, Booey, loves having all his rugs on except one. We won a woollen one for Champion Hack at a show once, so i use it to throw over him while he is tied to the truck at shows. if he doesn't have a cotton one on underneath, he will rip it off and stomp on it. He must find it itchy or something, i only hand wash it in wool mix same as his stable rugs but he HATES it. Maybe the other horses tease him about it and he is embarrassed?LOL.
Q:I have 2 king sized sheets and I don't have a loom. I just want a way to braid it, or something easier.
It's called a rag rug. As already described, cut the sheets into long strips and make braids. A five strand braid is wider and flatter than a three strand, so is usually the braid of choice for a rug. Once you have finished the braids you can sew them together side by side into a round or oval shaped rug.
Q:im a new rider, and next week i will got my first pony. i wanna buy some rugs for him. Couly you introduce different rugs and good brands.im in UK.xx
Is he coming with any rugs? See what he has before making any purchases. In terms of types, it depends on whether he is going to be field kept, stable kept, on a combined system and if he will be clipped in the winter. It also depends on the individual - some horses feel the cold more than others. It also depends on the storage space you have at the yard. My Connemara is on a combined system (in at night, out during the day) and has a hunter clip in the winter. These are the types of rugs he has: -Lightweight turnout -Middleweight turnout -Heavyweight turnout -Detachable neck cover for turnout rugs -Fly rug -Fleece coolers (we have a few of these as we like to keep one worn and the others clean for after bathing him when we are going competing) -Lightweight stable rug -Middleweight stable rug -Heavyweight stable rug -Duvet-type under rug -Summer sheet In the winter we layer rugs depending on the weather and the clip he has - he often starts with a blanket clip and once that starts to grow out, he has a hunter clip and requires more or different rugs. Rugs that are clean and not currently in use are left in the bags the cleaning lady put them in (we send rugs off to be cleaned a couple of times a year) and are stored in a wardrobe in a container provided by the yard we're on so they stay clean and dry. The rugs we currently use (fly rug, summer sheet, fleece, LW T/O) are hanging on racks in his stable - it may be summer, but the weather has no idea what to do so he is occasionally wearing a summer sheet or fleece at night. As for brands, it's trial and error. Our turnout rugs are Amigo and are about 12 years old and in excellent condition; our fly rug, under rug, summer sheet and one of the fleeces are Masta (again quite old - fly rug on its last legs though!); and his stable rugs all came with him. He did have two turnouts that came with him, but they got torn in the field - we tried patching them up, but they eventually died on us.
Q:I'm getting my first tattoo today. My friends were telling me that it will be tender for about 4 or 5 days. They said it would feel kinda like a rug burn or a grass burn. Does that sound right to you? Also, I'm a bit nervous about needles. Can you guys tell me how it feels to be tattooed? Thanks!
You will be sore for a few days. The rug burn analogy is pretty accurate. I can compare getting the tattoo to scratching a bad sunburn, or worse. It depends on the needle size, the location and the artist. Take some advil before you go. It might help a little. The needles are way different than the ones your doctor uses for injections. I hate getting shots but I can sit as long as 6 hours getting a tattoo. Try to relax. That will also help alot. And be sure to follow the artist's insructions for the healing process. The pain is temporary. Your beautiful artwork will last a lifetime.
Q:I my daughter and I have three cats. 1 male 2 females. One or more are using the area rugs as a bathroom. We have added another litter box. Washed all the rugs with oxy clean for cats. I have told my other daughter not to bring her german shepard over anymore. I am trying to play with them more. Can anyone help me.
I agree with what was said above ^^^^ -- the cats are, in all likelihood, peeing on the rugs because of the existing odors (pheromones) . Get rid of the pre-existing odors and you'll find that the cats we'll seek out the litter boxes (especially now since you've added an additional one) As far as getting the stain and ODOR out completely, I recommend OUT! Pet Care's stain and odor remover. I have cats and that's what I've used in the past. Best of luck!
Q:I have 3 cats and my 4 year old Maine coon named Harlee keeps peeing on my rug in my dining room. She has always used the litter box until recently. I always keep the litter box clean so I dont know why she is peeing on the rug now... how do i get her to stop and how do I get rid of that smell???
After Harlee started in the one spot, the smell will cause her to keep going in that spot. (I've tried home remedies, but this was much more effective and easy.) There are carpet cleaning formulas with enzymes available at either pet stores or Walmart (in the cleaning section). This is just poured into the rug and left wet to air dry. It will take care of the smell and the cat will not return to that spot. As for Harlee, she may have smelled something offensive to her little nose and had a fit, but she may also have a medical issue. I might be worth a vet visit to have her checked out.
Q:I had a bad stain on my carpet that nothing would remove. So I tried peroxide on it, and it took it out. So I was wondering if peroxide, baking soda, and things of that nature can be used in carpet cleaning machines?
Carpet cleaning machines spray out cleaning fluid and then vacuum it (and the dirt it attracts) back into the machine. Peroxide cannot be used because it needs to be in contact with the stain for a period of time to work. You can use oxygen-based cleaners in your carpet machine, but check with the manufacturer. Some require that you use a liquid oxygen-based cleaner that's made for carpet cleaners. Hoover makes a liquid called Oxy-Gen that works quite will.
Q:Why is there so much chromatism when producing multi color carpet
So different batches, because dyeing is ralated with the temperature and humidity of the air, the higher the humidity, the darker the color, the lower the temperature, the brighter the color
