Q: What glue does the square carpet glue to the ground?
Hook fixation. This method is in the room around the ground with strong glue installed with cards hook wood, carpet will hang on the card hook.
Q: I wash my bathroom rugs 3 times a week, but then I also buy new ones about every 3 months. Am I washing mine too often? It seems to me I should wash them more often. What about the kitchen? I wash mine 2times a week.Am I weird, or dirty?
I wash my bathroom rugs once a week. The rest of my house including the kitchen is carpet. Your not weird or dirty. My daughter probably washes hers 3 or 4 times a week to.
Q: My new dorm room is a 9x10. I want to get an area rug to put down, since the room just has cold tile floor! How do I go about buying an area rug, and what size do I need to get?

Q: The advantages and disadvantages of plastic carpet
Advantages of plastic carpet: 1, Most of the plastic has strong anti-corrosion ability, they don't react with acid and alkali reaction. 2 The cost of plastic manufacturing is low. 3, durable, waterproof, light weight. 4 They are easy to be shaped into different shapes. 5, They are good insulators. 6, plastics can be used for the preparation of fuel oil and fuel gas, which can reduce the consumption of crude oil. Disadvantages of plastics: 1 When recycling of waste plastics, classification is very difficult, and uneconomic. 2, the plastic is easy to burn, when burning, it produces toxic gases. 3, the plastic is made from petroleum refining products, oil resources are limited. Plastic refers to the resin (or in the process of using monomer to polymerize) as the main ingredient, regards plasticizers, fillers, lubricants, colorant and other additive as auxiliary components,
Q: When do you feel it is too cold or too hot for your horse and you need to rug him/her? How can you tell if your horse needs to be rugged or unrugged? Thanks, and could you also include some points about the differant types of rugs and what each are best for and when you should use them eg. winter rugs, summer rugs, cavasson (i think thats it:)), ect. thanks! xx
A okorder / The higher the denier the tougher the rug. 600 denier will tear easier and be less water proof then a 1200 plus denier rug. I have the last one shown (Defender) is a great rug for really cold frosty winters. Tough denier and no neck rug attached, which I prefer for my horses that are not in much work. In spring I then switch it for a lighter rug, which they usually wear for a month or so before I leave it off completely. But please remember, even if you switch to a lighter rug, it will still need to come off each morning if it is warm and during their heavy moulting in the first month of spring.
Q: My carpet is only 4 1/2 years old and in good shape with no big stains. My only complaint is that it's too light. Someone suggested having my carpet dyed a darker color, but I've never heard of anyone doing that before. Has anyone had this done before or know anyone who has? If so, what are the pro's and con's? Thanks :)
once okorder as they have been in the carpet dyeing and cleaning business for years. Also check the yellow pages and ask for references on their dyeing jobs.
Q: I have 5 kids and we rent our house .well it got so bad we rented a rug doctor it took so much of the dirt out I couldn't belive how dirty the water was. It didn't take long for the carpet to dry after we did it but now when you get down next to the floor it still smells like dirty socks!.does this mean I got the pad to wet or maybe I didn't mix the soap right?what can I do to take out that dirty sock smell?
carpet always smells like a wet dog. lol You can rent the rug doctor again but this time when after you shampoo... rinse with vinegar water. this will help remove soap residue and help keep your carpet from picking up more dirt that sticks to soap.
Q: I need a good turnout rug for my delightful stallion as he manages to break every rug I put on him, wether it being ripping off a belly strap (which I don't know how he does because he is in a field with post and electric fence, so there is no barbed wire or anything for him to tear it on) or he breaks the clips on the leg straps, then the rug slides. I need a proper turnout rug, with a bit of quilting for winter, not just a thin sheet. It obviously needs to be fairly sturdy and hardy but because of the number of rugs I have already bought him, then I can't afford to spend a fortune on it. if it was under ?30 that would be great, but absolutly nothing over ?40.So does anybody know any good brands or can find me links to good ones? Thanks in advance
I love Weatherbeetas. They are the only brand I buy anymore.
Q: I recently purchased this couch. I kept the colors the same (purple and teal). However, the two smallest accent pillows aren't the same; they're just going to be the same teal color. I need a rug and window treatments to match. I love the idea of a print and I'd like to not have it all too matchy. Any wall decor ideas are appreciated as well. Thanks for all the suggestions!!
I love it! You have great taste. I'd go will some soft silk drapes that gently flow and maybe puddle on the floor in a cream, gray or tan, with a contrasting colored tassel to hold them back. If you want a printed drape, I'd still go silk and stick with a contemporary pattern. Rug options are limitless. When shopping for a rug, try to pull out a color in your other items. I find it is striking to have that be a small almost unnoticeable color in the rug, but it will pop because it is in another item. For example a printed rug that is predominantly brown, but has little hints of purple in it. Alone you might not notice the purple in the rug, but the pillows make it pop out. I'd go with abstract art given the contemporary nature of the couch... maybe a canvas giclee.
