3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.
- Q: When I scoot into my desk my rug rolls up. I was thinking about putting double sided duct tape on it, but I don't know if it will hurt my carpet. Any advice? Thanks
- tricky thing. query on to google. that will could help!
- Q: I am looking for a good quality rug that is affordable. I am interested in contemporary, modern and geometric rugs (in the deep orange family). Any suggests for online and in person vendors would be helpful. Thank you in advance!
- If okorder and browse our selection. Also, for your future flooring needs, note that we offer vinyl tile flooring as well!
- Q: This is for a translation of a list of stationary
- I'm afraid there is no such thing.
- Q: What material is the carpet?
- Wool
- Q: difference and selection of 3D foot pad, hairy pad and the new wire circle pad of car carpet ~
- 3D pad, surrounding pad are materials of multi-layer synthesis, the middle is a layer of EVA foam which will dent after being stepped for some time, and four sides will go upwards, sometimes it will block the brake pedal. the wet foam is not easy to be dried, so there is will be smell left~ ~ ~ all in all, pad with the foam layer is not good.
- Q: my carpet is tan/bash and i already tried carpet and upholstery cleaner which seems to have gotten out most of the color. however it's still a little sticky!! it's a brand new carpet and my grandma is going to kill me!!!PLEASE HELP!!
- Go to the pet store and get Natures Mericle (sorry for bad spelling) it will take anything out of anything. Also the enzymes in milk might take it out. Put milk on a rag and blot or rub the area see if that helps ;)
- Q: I want to pull up the carpet in my house. The carpet now is the cheapest they make...I believe. I bought the house 1 1/2 years ago and have been waiting until now to do it. What do I need to know before I open this can of worms
- It's easy. Since it's usually ripped up the same day the new carpet goes in, you need to have a broom handy. The carpet installers don't mind the dust. Keep a tube of caulk nearby. It's a great time to spread a bead of caulk into any cracks in the cement floor. The cracks can allow insects in if they get too big.
- Q: I need a good turnout rug for my delightful stallion as he manages to break every rug I put on him, wether it being ripping off a belly strap (which I don't know how he does because he is in a field with post and electric fence, so there is no barbed wire or anything for him to tear it on) or he breaks the clips on the leg straps, then the rug slides. I need a proper turnout rug, with a bit of quilting for winter, not just a thin sheet. It obviously needs to be fairly sturdy and hardy but because of the number of rugs I have already bought him, then I can't afford to spend a fortune on it. if it was under ?30 that would be great, but absolutly nothing over ?40.So does anybody know any good brands or can find me links to good ones? Thanks in advance
- I love Weatherbeetas. They are the only brand I buy anymore.
- Q: This old rug has been stored in a musty damp place. It's beautiful, and I want to try to clean it and keep it. When I started to vacuum it, I found the backing in places was turning to sand and the threads connected to it were separating. The suction was too much. So, before I can clean it, I need to treat the back somehow in order to keep the rug intact. Does anyone know how I can do that? Taking it to someone who can restore it is out of the question.
- Then it's not a real oriental rug. A true oriental carpet will be something that could be turned over and the weave would be visible on the back side; it is not held together by a rubber backing. If your carpet had rubberized backing on it, this means it was a commercial carpet with an oriental design. Those backings are not meant to last forever, and they simply deteriorate with exposure to air and the elements. There is nothing you can do to restore it, to my knowledge. The rubberized backing has broken down, and that's irreversible - part and parcel of the product that you purchased. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Just this summer I had to toss two such carpets at church. One of them had backing that was dry and powdery; the other, much cheaper, had to be peeled off the hallway, and we had to spray with orange oil and go at the backing with a putty knife to remove the backing from the floor...a messy and nasty job. Be glad you never put that on the floor. You'd be cussing if you had to remove it.
- Q: how do my friend and I get blue-green marker stains out of carpet without making it worse? hopefully quickly?
- i have this carpet cleaner stuff. i forget what it is called, but im sure you can find any normal carpet cleaner at any store. it even removed eyeliner
