Q: I recently had my oil change done about 2 weeks ago. From yesterday my car running great to waking up this morning and my car boggling to turn on with a few sensors on my dashboard. The sensors say, brake, it shoes a car lifted, it also shows engine service soon and a triangle with an arrow around it. What can be the problem?
Get the car inspected, newer cars are so electronically power that its hard to tell what the sensor are trying to tell you without plugging them into a computer.
Q: Hi, I need car lift from International City to Green Community in Dubai Investment Park (DIP). My office timings are 9.00 - 6.00.Thanks in Advance.
A local towing outfit is your best bet for lifting your car.
Q: I‘m trying to find a kayak rack where one person can lift their large 2 person kayak onto their car and lower it very easily. Is there such a thing? This is specifically for a toyota camry. Thanks!
if you are in the US or Canada, try Craigslist for your area and nearby towns. I've gotten a lot of my kayak gear that way. Look for a basic roof rack like a Thule or a Yakima brand --check their company websites to find which models fit your vehicle. You can easily post an ad yourself in Craigslist under the boats section saying Wanted: kayak roof rack. Some people sell old racks when they buy a new car that doesn't fit the old rack. Also, many kayaking and outdoor sport clubs have online newsletters with classified ads selling used equipment. Truthfully, the good racks usually don't sell that cheaply even used -- you might want to also check gear closeout catalogs like Sierra trading Post to see if you can get a good price on a discontinued new model. I got my Thule rack used but bought the J-type kayak cradle attachment new on sale (marked down from $140 to $99).
Q: Can the hydraulic oil of the lift machine be used with automatic oil
Lifting machine is an ordinary hydraulic oil, automatic transmission oil on the temperature, cleaning capacity. Anti-shear ability, are required to be more stringent
Q: Yes or no?Also, would you do Harry Potter or Ron Weasley?
gone to the park be back soon
Q: I tried to pop open the hood of my car. I heard the popping sound and went to lift up the hood, and it wouldn‘t lift. It‘s like a crack open, but it wont pull all the way up. And I can‘t get it to shut, either. It‘s only a crack open, but it just wont close or open all the way. What should I do? I‘m going on a ten hour drive tomorrow to Colorado. Is it OK to drive with it cracked like that? It‘s not like it‘s going to fly open. I can‘t even get it to open. Another question of why I was opening my hood in the first place: I‘m trying to find the place to plug in the diagnostic reader to tell me what the code is for my check engine light. It‘s been on for a week now, but my car is running perfectly. I looked under the stearing wheel, and there was no place to plug it in. I opened the compartment on the drivers side with the fuses, and there is no place to plug it in there. It‘s a 2001 Ford focus.
How did air get in the system? have you had a hose or brake line replaced or caliper or wheel cylinder or master cylinder? if not you may have a bad master cylinder or a leaking wheel cylinder
Q: When your jacking and lifting a car, are you supposed to first put the car in neutral and release the parking break, or put the car in park ? I go to a technical high school and the auto teacher taught us to put it in neutral first, but my dad keeps arguing with me that you put it in park. I told him that you put it in neutral because the back wheels have to move so the front end can go up, but he says it doesnt matter because the jack has wheels ?
Usually when you jack a car up your raising only one tire. Here's a step by step guide for that. 1. Place the car in park (AUTOMATIC), or pull up the hand brake. (MANUAL). 2. Look under the car for a proper place to jack the car, aim for the chassis. (i've known people who've jammed their doors because they weren't paying attention and put it on the body. 3. Are the car raised, put chocks being the wheels. (usually wood blocks, or bricks will do) 4. For added safety, put a jack stand next to the jack. I've known people who has died because the jack malfunction and the car rolled over the chocks, crushing him to death.
Q: Chitown Customs charge $1200 for the lift kit. Is there any place in Illinois or Indiana that can by far beat that price?
WHY? Are you going to Crunk it? or whatever you East Coasters call itLOL That's the worse look ever, especially on classic cars like Impalas. Atleast you're doing a 300. West Coasters just don't understand that look. We lay low and slow.
