- Rugs, like lumber are dimensional. They can run in sizes from 7 foot 6 inches to 8foot on one side to 11 ft 6 inches on the long side. They are not always a true 8 foot by 12 foot. Carpet cleaning Tech, I can tell you that if you didnt get all the beer out of the carpet, and what i mean is if the padding is still wet it will form what is called a water stain witch most of the time will come out if you clean the carpet again but dont use soap in the carpet cleaning machine put it in a spray bottle and spray it on the carpet first let it sit for about 10 mins, then put rubbing alochol in the water water about 1/2 cup then the rest hot water. then dry good

- I used a gallon of water and two cups ammonia in the rug doctor when I ran out of their solution. Worked fine; just be sure and clean out the thing after using, You can also use white vinegar BTW Do not tell them you used it, just say you don*t need the solution because you have some left from the last time you cleaned the carpet.

- Yes, get one.....first use the shampoo'r without any water in it to just suck up the water and get the carpet totally dried out. Then use the carpet cleaner with water and detergent.

- we use Sprayway Glass Cleaner on our stainless things. it doesn't contain ammonia which leaves a film on s.s. and that is what attracts dirt and fingerprints. it's great on windshields, too.
