- Hello, I believe you contacted me and asked me to take a look at your question., Yes you need to install a particular software and its called desktop manager (attaching download for you) Once you have that downloaded you connect your BB to your PC. Open Desktop manager and select add remove programs. Once in there chose the option to browse, you will find your files for the program, they should be ALX and COD files.click on them and select ok. Then you will select finish and it will show you which programs are being added to your BB. Make sure when downloading apps/themes ect that its not OTA or over the air but to be done via desktop. So that you get the appropriate files. If you need further assistance let me know.

- Regarding the data transfer question, I can offer three suggestions: 1) buy a thumb drive for about $10 and plug it into the laptop. Copy your data to it and then connect it to the new computer and copy the files from the thumbdrive to your new PC. 2) buy a cross-over data wire and use it to connect both computers together. You'll need some instructions for how to make this work, so it's may not be your best option. 3) get a friend to help you connect both computers to the same router, and then to help you connect both computers together to allow for file transfer. This option will depend on how much your friend can help with. Sorry I couldn't be a bit more specific, but I'm trying not to confuse you further. Hope this helps

Get a Linksys Wireless router and you can use that to connect your laptop to the Internet via a wireless connection. If you want to connect it using a data cable go to the store and ask for a CAT 5 cable. it can be used to connect your laptop to the router via the RJ-45 port (the connector will look like a large phone cord connector). The only way would be to format a USB drive and move your profile and saves over to use on his 360. Recovering the gamertag from Xbox Live would work, but doing so doesn't recover your saves.
