- Q: Hey, I'm trying to get images from a motorola v3i phone, but when i connect the phone to the computer via a data cable, the images don't appear where they're supposed to be. There are no images in the image folder, or anywhere else!. They are saved to the phone, and theres no option to save them anywhere else on the phone. When u want to connect any cell phone to laptop/computer u just can not use any data or usb cable, u get connected only through the USB cable which comes along with cell phone ( or u need to buy it seperatly but every phone model has its own USB cable, so u just cant not connect with any other cell phone model USB cable. 2. And more importent is it has its won CD which u need to install it 1st n then only u can get connected.

- you need a data transfer cable. unfortunately, a usb-usb cable won't do what you want it to do, as I've learned that from experience. you do not need additional software because it comes with it.
