- Q: Hi,I recently purchsed vx8600.A few questions:1. I cannot get the phone to play any music files.which putton do i press when the phone is closed?upper-right is camera, lower-right is voice memo(although it seems unavailable)but upper-left and upper-right buttons don't seem to do anything beside make the screen flash. Is it because i don't have any mp3's saved on the phone? wouldn't it still have to run the phone mp3 player?(If there is)2. b/c LG's music package(or something) is expensive, im planning to buy a data cable separately, but do i need to have a LG software? - I work for verizon so when the phone is closed push both side buttons on the phone at the same time until the three fun arrows light up then you can scroll through your songs fromt here.as far as buying just a data cable im pretty sure you're going to need the software on you computer to be able to transfer music to the phonesyou could try the music management kit instead of the music essentials kit.that should help you out

- If you have been saving everything to the USB, then no. Just pop the USB into the new console and transfer everything manually. It won't take very long

- Q: I have a motorola razer, the display is broken, and I got a new phone but my SIM card didn't have my contacts saved to it so I need to get them from the phone. - Verizon Wireless may be able to help you. There is a machine that will transfer your phonebook, pictures, etc for about $10-15. Not all of the stores have them, but most do. If all else fails. that is what I would do. And it should work as long as your port (where your phone charges) is not damaged. Hope that this helps.
- Q: I have a cricket wireless modem, it works fine except inside my home. the reception (even on cell phones) is terrible. I tried using a data cable in a window and it worked great for about a week, then it started turning on and off 3-4 times a second cricket gave me a short data cable and it works,but when I add another(a new one) it does the on/off thing. how can I get the longer cable (with or without the cricket one )to work? I'd really like to be able to move out of the corner where the short cable reaches a window.
- how long is the cable your using. There are limits on the length a data cable can be depending on what type of data port it is. this applies to all types of cables and cords that transfer data for instance a LAN cat5 Ethernet cable in most cases without giving the boring details can reach up to 100 feet (a usb is much different)
