- Did you try the sony website? I lost the charger for my camcorder that I bought about 4-5 years ago. I got a replacement for it on the sony website. No store carried the charge batteries in the camera charger, so I went directly to the source. I needed this type of charger because it's also the ac adapter. Even if it's a couple years old, give sony shot.
- Q: I have been trying my very best to transfer data from a motorola w215 mobile phone.We've clicked a very rare photograph from that phone there seems to be no easy way to transfer it to my computer. Motorola w215 is a phone with no bluetooth, no infrared we're not sure about the data cable.It has only slot for power headphones. Somewhere on the net, it was written that the data cable goes in from the headphone slot. But, we're not able to find any such cable till now. The phone came with no data cable or headphones at all. - Okay for one HDMI had NOTHING to do with transfer rate Its basically a cable to hook your computer up with your HDTV (if your T.V. has an HDMI port) which mostly all of them comes with today So buying it I guess would be benificial if your looking for a bigger monitor xD but other than that its useless and don't worry about it and the 2 dudes on top have absolutly no idea wtf their talking about.

- it is impossible to tranfer files from you box to your computer without the tranfer kit unless you have a modded xbox. but to my knowledge all HDD purchased from a legit supplier will come with the transfer kit or at least they do here in Canada

- The battery in your phone is likely a Lithium Ion battery. These batteries are charged with a constant current limited to 1C or less. You should check the amp-hour rating of your battery, but it is probably around 1000 mAh so you can charge it at 1000 mA or 1A maximum. But it is always preferrable to charge at a lower current than the maximum. The Lithium Ion needs to charge at a constant current until the maximum voltage is attained, then the charger must change to a constant voltage charger and not exceed the allowed charge voltage. As the battery charges, the current will drop. Once the current drops below 3%C, the battery is charged and the charger must be disconnected. The USB voltage (Vbus) is 5V and your cell phone battery is probably 4.1V. So a low dropout regulator (LDO) can drop the charge voltage to 4.1 volts from the 5V. Placing a current limiting resistor in series with the LDO will limit the current to the battery. As for the wiring, a standard 4-wire USB cable has the VBUS on pin 1 and the ground on pin 4. - Q: I bought 100ft of cat5e ethernet cable. I will not be using it for ethernet but my own circuits that I built. 3 lines will be used for leds, the other 4 will send parallel data to a logic circuit. 1 for gnd. The max current I'll have going through the lines will be around 40mA@ 5.2v. Is this in the safe range for this type of cable?What is the max current and voltage these wires can handle?
- No problem at all, CAT5e is good for about an amp. It is used at 48v in 'Power-over-Ethernet' applications (PoE). I would suggest that if you can, put your voltage regulator (if you've got one!) at the far end (the end to be powered) of the CAT5e run - you will be affected less by cable impedances and fluctaution caused by differing return currents (from LED's). Also, lower the impedance of your logic signals (perhaps use some 4K7 resistors on the logic inputs) to reduce the risk from static or induced currents/voltages.
