- When I first saw this question, I was going to make a snappy answer such as - randomly draw lines all over the place and then erase all the ones that don't look like a chair. But, after reading the question, it's a good one. Measuring curves can be very tricky. I usually draw a straight line parallel to the curves on the actual object and mark the line at several preset, equally spaced points. I then make several measurements at these set intervals on the line to the actual curves - the more measurements, the more accurate the drawing. I then use this information to duplicate the curve from a straight line in the drawing. There may be other methods, too, but I find that this one works best for me. Good luck.

- I have assembled a number of chairs and never had a problem with the armrests. Loosen all the screws until loose enough to get all of them started, then just tighten them in rotation, a little at a time. And by the way, calling somebody stupid on here doesn't get you much good help, your question was quite ambiguous.

- They make high chairs that actually attach to the table, that might be an option. Then he's actually at the table, but he can't get out. Otherwise, it might be time to just get him excited about sitting at the table like a big boy. He's old enough for a time-out if he gets out, and if you get him excited enough, and maybe go buy a new booster seat together it might just be what he needs! target has restuarant style high chairs as well

- Q: I have 2 pine log rocking chairs that are beautiful. I want to keep them that way but do not want to darken the wood. I've had alot of advise, from tung oil to linseed oil etc. I want the finish to be water proof as well. thanks!
- I would definitely go with tung oil. It is very durable, waterproof and easy to apply. It just rubs on with a cloth. Low odor. dries quickly. About $7. a can. Enough for a couple of chairs. You can apply 3 or more coats if you wish. Wait for the proper dry time between coats. Each coat makes a more durable finish. I used Formby's tung oil over 25 years ago on an unfinished pine cabinet. I applied 2 or 3 coats. It has held up beautifully. I also used it on a refinished 100 year old+ oak buffet. The finish still looks like new and has remained waterproof for over 25 years.
