- As long as it's a good strong chair sitting level on a solid floor then it should be okay. Just check it from time to time to be sure it stays stable. Years ago , before I got my extension cabinet , I used a chair with no problems. And my amp was a little pig , it was a 70's Fender Twin with 2 heavy duty JBL speakers so it was heavy as all get out but the chairs handled it with no problem. It really helps to have the cabinet up where you can hear it. I used to carry around a couple of those plastic milk crates for the places that didn't have folding chairs available.They worked really good too. I would cover the crates with a black cloth before I put the amp up on them so it didn't look too cheesy.Actually you could't even tell what the amp was sitting on.

- I assume you are talking about renting chairs for the reception, and the answer is, it depends. Each church is different. But usually, if you rent the hall, chairs and tables are included in the price. Otherwise, if you have a caterer, they can arrange for the chairs as well. If you use the church for the ceremony, there will be chairs (of course) in the sanctuary. If you have the ceremony in the reception all, then again, the chairs usually come with the space. If for some reason you have to rent chairs, however, the cost is not too bad. We needed to do it for a big party in my family (not in a church), and the rental company arranged to deliver the chairs and pick them up. I don't remember the price right now, but I remember being surprised at how reasonable it was. There are so many big expenses for a wedding. Chairs are going to be only a minor part. - Q: I'm very recently very interested in the old abandoned ski areas. I was wondering if anyone knew of an old area where lifts are still up? or even if the chairs are set on the ground that would be ideal. I'm looking for old chairs to just really get a good sense of the old technology that was used on these old mountain/areas. I've had some great success with finding rope tows and Poma lifts, however chairlifts are hard to find really with chairs still attached! Any information would be great. Just a hint. I am NOT looking to take these. I have found old Poma Bars, T-Bars, and old rope tow handles and always abide by the rules of the area. I have taken ONE T-bar, and asked the mountains owner for permission to take it. I don't know how I could fit a chair in my little Ford Taurus either! Thanks in advance for anyone who will be giving information on an OLD mountain with some chairs attached or lying around!

- Ergonomics is more than just a good chair. Your whole workstation must be properly set up. Let me ask a few questions: Do you use a keyboard tray? Do you have a flat screen monitor at your desk and is it supported by a monitor arm (Not the stand provided by the manufacturer)? Do you sit in a cubicle or in an office? In regards to the chair, there is no one chair that is better than any other. Chairs are personal and what might work for you will not work for others. Unfortunately, office chairs are expensive. The less expensive chairs you see in retail stores are usually rated for only 2-3 hours per day and do not have the support or warranty for an 8 hour day. To find a good chair, that will have either a synchro-tilt mechanism or a counter-balance mechanism you are probably going to spend closer to $500. I would suggest calling an office-furniture dealer in your area. They will be able to come to your place of business an provide you with demo chairs so you can find the chair that is the best fit for you.

I think thats a little worse than a beating with a chair... The Undertaker has dided more than once, been buried alive, gone through hell in Hell in a Cell matches, fought the best in the business. He has been beaten again and again by the Big Show. I think a measly chair attack wouldn't be so bad. Finlay always is taking the biggest beating of his career.
