5. FAQ
We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:
①How about your black annealed wire?
Our company isa professional manufacturer and exporter of metal products. We have 20 years of production experience and our product category has expanded to galvanized wire, black annealed wire, welded wire mesh, welding rod, hexagonal wire netting, chain link fence, barbed wire, stainless steel wire, dutch wire mesh, perforated metal mesh, loop wire, etc
②Q:How do you ship the finished galvanized iron wire?
A:Usually by sea.
③Q:Are you a manufacturer?
A: Yes,we have specialized in this field for more than 4 years experience.
- Q: How doI wire a ceiling chain light to wall switch? I want to stop using the chain to turn the light on and off. I hane already installed the wall switch and the wiring in the box but not sure how to connect the wiring in the box to the ceiling light wiring.
- Basically, yes. The wiring you placed is caused a switch loop. if you connect the black feeder wire to the white of the switch, and the switch is turned on, then the black wire of the switch loop will be hot. Connect this to one side of the light fixture and the white of the feeder to the other side.
- Q: I just installed a backup camera however I am having trouble wiring it. I've read that I need to tap into the reverse wire, however I went through many wires and couldn't figure out which one is it. My cameras wire is designed to be wired in the trunk, so the wire under the hood or dash is not a possibility. 2003 G35 Sedan
- You can remove your tail light and tap into the reverse wire there. It is easy to find just look at your reverse light bulb and use a multimeter to test for positive and negative (that would be the right way to do it at least). If your wanting to have the camera able to be on all the time and viewed from the headunit then you would need to wire the camera to switched accessory so it has power when the car is on and hook up your head units wiring (which you will need to do anyway to make the h/u switch to b/u cam when you go into reverse) to the reverse wire.
- Q: Im currently running 8 gauge power wire from my battery to my amp which is a hifonics zxi8408 i have it bridged to 2 channels so its pushing 440 watts x2 to 2 alpine type Rs. The current speaker wire im running is 16 gauge. My question is...since im going to go down to 4 gauge power wire, should I lower the speaker wire and get 12 gauge speaker wire also? What will sound the best?
- The okorder and buy some 10 or 8 gauge for the speaker wire and get some 4 gauge wire from them also. The prices are very good. Its really good wire too trust me i have all Knu Konceptz wiring and RCAs in my car with 7k watts. I got about 100ft of the KLMX 0 gauge wire and i'm using the 4 gauge KLMX wire for my speaker wire. You should get some of their 4 gauge it's good stuff with a lot of copper strands... no bullshit...
- Q: 2 long striaght wires (20m each) ,each having a 1.0A current going up.The distance between the two wires is 1.0m(a) what is the magnetic field (magnitude and direction) at a point o.50m left of the wire 1?(b)what is the magnetic field (magnitude and direction) at a point 0.6m right of Wire 1?
- Assuming Wire 2 is to the right of Wire 1: a) Bwire1 = (u*I)/(2*pi*r) = ((4*pi*10^-7)*1A)/(2*pi*0.5) = 0.000004 Bwire2 = 0.000000424 Btotal = 0.000004424 (away from wire 1) b) Bwire1 = 0.000003333 Bwire2 = 0.000005 Btotal = -0.0000017 (toward Wire 1)
- Q: what is the yellow wire, what is the grey wire, and the black
- Depends on each stereo and the wiring in your truck. Black is probably a ground. As for the yellow and the grey, one is probably a constant 12v, the other a keyed 12v. If the wiring is on your truck, get a voltmeter and test it. If the wiring is on your stereo, get the manual for it.
- Q: Ceiling fan has Green, Blue, black and white and the ceiling only has a black wire and white wire.
- The blue and black wires from the fan are twisted together and attached to the black wire coming from the ceiling box using the enclosed wire nuts. The white wire from the fan goes to the white wire from the box. There may be a bare copper wire bent up into the box, if so pull it down and attach the green wire to it. If there is no bare wire you can get a short piece of bare copper wire and attach it with a screw to a hole in the metal box with an 8/32 machine screw. Wrap the copper wire clockwise around the screw, tighten, and then join green wire to bare. If you have no bare wire and the box is plastic then you will have nothing to use the ground wire to and it will be unused.
- Q: I have a 2002 chevy trailblazer lt and i was trying to see if anyone knows what color is what for the radio harness i want to straight wire my aftermarket cd player in because the harness is 100 dollars to buy. if anyone can tell me which wire goes to where by color or know of a good diagram i would appreciate it.
- You can get the harness at WalMart or Best Buy. It connects to the aftermarket radio and then just plugs right in to the vehicles harness.....unless you already hacked it off. The thing only cost about $15.00 and makes the installation process a breeze.
- Q: I have a set of two rotating beacon lights on my truck. I would like to wire these directly to the vehicle with an on/off switch. I picked up a two prong toggle switch from autozone, as well as some wire. I'm not sure how I need to do the wiring. I read somewhere about running wire from the fuse box? And how about grounding?
- Truck Beacon Lights
- Q: I have eight speaker wires, I can figure that out on my own. I also have a red/blue stripe, black/red stripe, black/white stripe, and blue. Which ones are the power wires?
- you will need a DVM, to find what is what. Check the fuse box, and make sure the fuse is good, and search for the constant power.Set the meter to 20V. I like to stick the ground on my meter, in the ignition where the key goes. Then find the switched, key on wire. obviously, you'll have to move the ground on the meter for that. Don't forget to solder and use heat shrink tubing, or red and blue butt connectors, and heat shrink, or tape them well. Then set the meter to ohms, or the omega pic on the meter. once you find a resistance for each speaker, pop it with a 9V battery, not a AA, as both terminals are on top. then when you hear which speaker pops, wire it accordingly. Good Luck!
- Q: I have a 220v single phase kiln with two red wires labeled L1 and L2, and one white wire labeled N. It did not come with the plug, so I bought one and new wire 3/c 10awg, but it has ground(green), Hot(black), and neutral(White). I dont know how to proceed with wiring? any help would be great. Thanks. Jose
- How 220v works with 4 wires: (one wire to each) 1 Black wire carries 110v (L1) 1 Red wire carries 110v (L2) 1 White wire acts as a common (neutral) 1 Green wire acts as a ground How 220v works with 3 wires: 1 Black wire carries 110v 1 Red/White wire carries 110v (if you use white flag it with red electrical tape) 1 Green wire acts as a ground/common (Do not actually ground this) If you have 4 wires in the wall, but you are wiring them to a 3 prong receptacle, connect the green wire to the green ground screw on the receptacle or if no ground screw is present, attach this wire to one of the receptacle mounting screws. That way if the common fails, you still have the added protection of a ground. Some wiring installations may use different colored wires, this doesn't change how anything works. If you have any doubts, get a voltage tester and make sure.
