5. FAQ
We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:
①Is you a factory or trading company?
Yes, we are a factory. We supply the wire and wire mesh products for about 8 years, and export them all over the world. Our compnay is with good quality and nice price, with the production line to produce the black annealed wire and galvanized wire.
②What is the process of the black annealed wire?
Wire rod--wire drawing-- furnace annealing--wire coiling --packing. Each step is strictly executed to guarantee the quality of the wire. In this way, the high tensile and strength and excellent flexibility will be guaranteed.
③How long can we receive the product after purchase?
In the purchase of Black Annealed Iron Wire within three working days, We will arrange the factory delivery as soon as possible. The pacific time of receiving is related to the state and position of customers. Commonly 15 to 20 working days can be served.
- Q: when wiring subs to different ohm levels, does is matter what kind of speaker wire you use to connect to the + and - terminals? i mean like gauge wise of the speaker wire and such.
- i'd use the same as the rest of teh wire, and always go larger never smaller. the cost of wire for teh few feet needed in a car, seams silly to me to go cheap... most places allow you to buy it by the foot. i usually use 12 ga for subs and 16 for mains..
- Q: does anyone know what wires go on which post on a 1995 chevy lumina 3.1 starter? it was off when i bought the car and im lost. i cant find a straight answer anywhere. a picture of the wiring in question is an instant best answer lol
- the small wire goes to the inside / right side pole everything else go to the big post
- Q: i want to install a new light in a old house.the problem is that there are three black wires coming out of he ceilng.the old light fixture has two black wires. two ceiling wires are connected to one fixture wire and the other ceiling wire i connected to he other fixture wire.i dont know which is the hot wire and which is the comon wire.also the new light has a ground wire ,2 blue wires and 2 white wires but, there is no ground wire coming out of the box. please help
- A lot of the older homes only used two wires, a hot and a neutral. You need a tester to find which is the hot wire and connect the two blue wires to that wire and the two white wires to the neutral wire. Be sure to turn off the power when you are making the connections. If the ceiling box is not grounded there is nothing to connect the ground wire to. It is important to identify the hot wire as it connects to the wires that go to the center connection of the lamp socket and the neutral connects to the metal screw in part of the bulb. This will reduce the chances of getting shocked when changing a bulb.
- Q: Two wires are made of the same material but the second wire has twice the diameter and twice the length of the first wire. When the two wires are stretched, and the tension in the second wire is also twice the tension in the first wire. the funamental frequency of the first wire is 880 Hz. What is the fundamental frequency of the second wire?
- Since the tension and size are different the two wire will have different wave speeds Since v= sqrt(T/mu) mu can be represented by density * area Since the second wire has twice the diameter it will have 4 times the mu and since Tension in wire 2 is twice that in wire 1 v2 = sqrt(2T/4mu) sqrt(.5)*v1 = 0.707*v1 Since f1 (wire 1) = v/2L1 then f2(wire 2) = v2/2L2 so replacing v2 and L2 yields 0.707v1/(2*2*L1) = 0.707/2(v1/2L) = 0.707/2 *f1 = 0.707/2*880Hz = 311Hz
- Q: I plugged in my new Pioneer DEH-P6500it worked for a little bit until i moved it around a littlethe speakers started to go out but the subs still sounded finei messed around with it and found the wire responsible for it allits a red wireit says AAC or somethingif i messed with the copper twist the speakers would come in and outi stripped the wire a little and put it back together but now the head unit wont even turn onand im also left with like 2 inches of red wireis my only option to get a new pioneer wire harness?what is the problem?the red wire i think supplies the power to the whole head unit because when its not connected, the whole thing turns onbut only the speakers go on and off when i messed with itbut it wont turn on anymore
- The red wire is the ignition wire. There are two wires that supply power to your head unit. One is the yellow wire which is a constant source of power. This keeps all your settings on the radio and the clock. The red wire is used to switch on your head unit. When you turn on your car the wire gets power and turns your head unit on. First, like said before, make sure the wire is getting power by checking fuses. There should be one in the head unit and one in your car's fuse panel. If that is not it then you will want to see if the wire is split somewhere. An easy way to check if the wire is getting power is if you have a DMM (digital multimeter). Then just check if there is voltage in the wire. Your car must be on to check this though. Good Luck!!! Edit: DMMs are cheap, you can get one for around $15. They have even cheaper ones if you get it at Harbor Freight.
- Q: I thought plug wires were plug wires. I know there is a difference between coil pack wires and distributor wires. Do i have to use specific brands depending on vehicle?
- not all plug wires are the same ! there are 7mm and 8 mm plug wires ! what plug wires came off of your car ? get the same mm wires that were on it !
- Q: I recently purchased a 1-wire alternator and I'm not sure what to do with the wire harness that was on my stock alternator. Also not sure what the three wires on it go to. Can anyone experienced in alternator wiring tell me what these wires do and if it is ok to leave them unhooked?
- Connect the existing larger wire to the stud with the 7/16 nut. That goes straight to the battery+. Use a test light to find the smaller wire that goes hot with the ignition on.That goes to the terminal marked f or field. That turns the alternator on and off so it doesn't drain the battery when the engine is off. The other terminal on the alternator is to the gauge or light.
- Q: I think I have heard about flat cable wires?maybe even flat electrical wires.where you can hide them behind a base board.is this true?what are they called/thx
- flat co-ax cable would be an oxymoron, however there is flat twinlead. U need to know that twinlead is more likely to have interference problems though. electrical cable usually has 3 conductors so it is naturally kind of oval shaped people typically hide these behind baseboard or in the space below the baseboard if they have wall to wall
- Q: When you buy new earbuds/headphones there are usually two wires connected by a thin piece of rubber. Is it ok to split the two wires that are joined together when you buy them? Im wondering because i need the extra length.
- In almost every case, you just grab the 2 wires close to where they're joined and pull apart gently and it will come apart with no problem at all, and will leave the insulation intact on each wire, as long as you can see the 2 separate wires this should be no problem at all (in fact a lot of earbuds and headphones come with a little rubber piece on the wire that goes up to the split to keep the wires from separating too much, that's how easy they pull apart)
- Q: Two long straight parallel wires are 12 cm apart. Wire A carries 2.5 A current. Wire B's current is 3.7 A in t?Two long straight parallel wires are 12 cm apart. Wire A carries 2.5 A current. Wire B's current is 3.7 A in the same direction.1) Determine the magnetic field magnitude due to wire A at the position of wire BB = ? T2) Determine the magnetic field due to wire B at the position of wire A.B = ? T3) Are these two magnetic fields equal and opposite? Why or why not?4) Determine the force on wire A due to wire B, and the force on wire B due to wire A.
- (1) wire-A B = (uo)(I) / (2pi * r) B = (1.26E-6)(2.5) / (2pi * 0.12) B = 4.17E-6
