- Q: i hardly find a replacement for my electrolux vacuum cleaner filter bag... where do You think i can buy that in manila or batangas area here in the philippines
- We have a bagless vacume. We shake the filter off every time when empty the tank and change at the recomended times. We have never had the trouble you have described. I think your vacume is messed up. I really like the bagless.
- Q: Im only 22 yrs old so Im still domestically challenged. Im going to be buying a vacuum and I dont know what to look for.. meaning watts n such... someone please help
- Go to your local library and check out Consumer Magazine, or go on line - I think there's a fee. There you will obtain info on the latest tests on vacuum cleaners and other appliances.
- Q: I know there is the Bissell Flip it, Dirt Devil Vac n Mop and Hoover Floor Mate, but is there a site where I can compare all 3 and see which one is the best?
- I tried the Floor Mate, garbage...it didn't do a good job of cleaning (terrible suction) and it leaked water. I bought a scooba...very happy with it. Does a great job on the floors and you can use vinegar and water instead of the clorox cleaner on your wood floors. The only drawback is you have to empty and then refill after 45 mins. Other than that its the greatest invention for a busy Mom like me!
- Q: And why is it that once you've run out of bags, you can never find the ones for your vacuum at the store?(Anyone who uses the word suck in their answer will not get 10 points.)
- It depends on the brand, age, and maintenance you provide your vaccum with. They need to be regular serviced. You can do this yourself. Of course, never vac foreign objects, look around on floor each time before hand and pick these items up. Don't run your vac for too long of periods of time. This will cause the motor to overheat and sometimes will kill the vac. Keep the beater bar clean regularly by unplugging tthe vac first, flip it over, remove the screws on the bottom and pull the cover off. Pull the beater bar (rotating bar) out and use a razor or sharp knife to slice down the center of the bar and then pull out all hair and fibers. While it is apart, check the extra compartment (most new vacs have) that traps foreign objects to keep it away from the motor. Clean it out if needed. Replace the belt if needed, change the bag, and put it all back together. This is servicing your vaccum. Do this regularly, like every two or three bag changes and your vac should last longer. Try checking more stores to find your bags and if you still have no success then try online. Maybe for your next vac purchase, you may want to look into purchasing a bagless canister vac with filter. They are affordable and easier and in my opinion more efficient and sanitary. Good luck!
- Q: Has anyone purchased one of these outrageously expensive vacuum cleaners? We have a yellow lab that sheds like crazy. We have a horrible time with vacuum cleaners. We have had Dysons and just had one die on us. Does anyone have any feedback on these vacuums?
- we have a Miele Blue Moon. We also had a very hairy dog. But we bought it because of allergies. it picks up and keeps dust mite droppings which no other vacuum does. but you have to change the HEPA once a year for it to do that. The bags and hepa are rather costly but we have had it 9 years and it works great. The only other tip I'd give is keep the height setting one setting higher if you find it is overheating when you vacuum. we have shag carpet so it was overheating the powerhead set at 1. We love it and it definitely works better than the less expensive models.
- Q: I am wondering if vacuum cleaners are tax free right now since I am moving out for college and need one
- Depending upon where you live they would be. Some states are having a tax free week-end that ends today (Sunday) Some states like (New Hampshire) a vacuum cleaner is tax free all the time.
- Q: i hate those things, man. idk why.. how do you feel about em?
- I too as quickly as went in the process the orientation the place they tutor you all with regards to the excellent international of Kirby door to door sales. in the journey that your husband is the international's maximum excellent salesman he will do high-quality. If no longer he would evaluate different strategies. i comprehend the interest industry is skinny in some places good now, yet he has to attain what proportion anybody is available good now that are going to be keen to shell out $2000 for a vaccum. answer is few at best. - Vacuum Cleaner Masturbation
- Q: what's the difference with this 2 vacuum cleaners
- The okorder /... P.S. this is the zoology section, unless you categorise a question yourself, the system decides for you based upon certain words (shark !).
- Q: How do vacuum cleaners work?
- The electricity operates the motor. The motor turns the fan. The fan takes air from underneath the vacuum cleaner and directs it through the dust collection bag. At the same time the brushes turn and flick up the dust/dirt into the stream of air going into the vacuum cleaner. The dust bag is a filter with small holes in it. The dust sucked into the bag is bigger than the holes so stays in the bag.
