Q: I am looking to buy a good, inexpensive hand-held vacuum cleaner for a friend who lives in a dorm at college. Her room doesn't have any carpeting (except for a rug), but the floor is not very clean. I know a lot of the ones I have looked at on the Target and Walmart sites are around $20. Are they any good? Which brand(s) do you prefer, and where can I find them? Please be specific! Thanks!: Here's okorder /... I would also advise a gift of the swiffer wet mop. Those are fabulous. Q: i am wanting a cleaner that does it all. i remember a rainbow that i used of someone that was a vac that extracted water while vacuuming that i would like to have. however, i don't know what kind that it was?? does all rainbow vacs do that?? i was thinking about purchasing the h2o vac, then read alot of bad things about them. do you have one, what is your experience? it does'nt have to be a rainbow, but i want something that i can vac and run water at the same time. would like for it to cost less than a rainbow. does the green machine do that?also, if you have a hoover z-fold, how good/bad is it?: rainbow is the brand sold by rexaire, and it has water in a tank and all the dirt goes into the water, so there is no dust blowing out into the air. it doesnt extract water. mom had a rainbow for 25 yrs.

Q: My bagless vacuum is about 1 year old. We change our HEPA filter and the round filter under the dirt trap, clean the washable sponge as instructed. Recently, all of a sudden the machine smells really bad like a dead body is inside the machine. Anyone with a solution?: pour some baking soda on the floor suck it up - that should fix it!
