- Q: Vacuum Cleaners...please tell me the BEST one out there?!?!?!?
- I think I have had every vacuum made at one time or another, and absolutely nothing I've had has ever compared to my new Dyson The Ball. They have numerous models so just pick the one that's best for you particular situation. It is made so well that I do not expect to ever have to replace it. Mine has amazing suction, turns and swivels to get into every nook and cranny, lightweight with a nice long extension hose. I have three indoor dogs so I use this baby all the time. It still looks brand new and spotless. Not one ounce of dust ever sticks to it as it suck it all around it. A push of the button empties it so I never have any dusty hands. I love to use it, so that's a very first for me, I always hated dragging out the vacuum. This one is not like working at all, I never break a sweat. This is one item where you really get what you pay for, and will save you tons of money in the future as well as so much frustration!!!
- Q: Can anyone give me the manufacturers contact in Malaysia pls?
- Contact trade associations or to get offers from suppliers of vacuum cleaners,
- Q: I'm looking for a bagless upright to clean my one bedroom apartment that is all hardwood floors. I have a stick vac, but I'd like something with attachments to do furniture and between things. I got a few on black friday, but they are all too loud. I don't have any pets, but I do have long hair. Thanks!
- You might find a used Dyson, or find one on sale - they are WELL worth the price, and I live in a house that could be a test sight for any home appliance. On the other hand, I have also seen at least one Shark at the recyucle shed per week. Not a good sign.
- Q: I have a bag-less dyson vacuum cleaner, and it does a great job vacuuming. Thing is it's getting really dirty. I have asthma, so I really don't want to clean it myself, since there's all manner of dust and what not in it's hoses and other pieces. I empty it's quot;bagwhen I use it and I wash the filters from time to time, but that doesn't keep it from getting really dirty in other places. Are there businesses that clean vacuum cleaners? If so, where can I find them?
- You can wash the plastic canister out and let dry.
- Q: I have gone through three vacuum cleaners in the last 6 months because I vacuum all the time(3 children and one dog).I really want a vacuum that sucks up the dirt well as well as pet hair and can clean the stairs well.
- I also work for a vacuum shop, and I would agree with the other person above about not going bagless. The hair will definitly clog the filters faster and makes for a real dirty mess. I honestly think it will be hard to find a good quality vacuum in that price range that will last. All vacuums are stong and pick up at first. The Dyson is horrible, simply put. Very heavy, clog often and noone wants to repair them. The Dirt Devil company has made better vacuums as of late, but I would would recommend a Sanitaire vacuum which will give you more longevity and eventually you will want to get a canister. Sanitaire vacuums are made for commercal use, but can be used in residential settings and are very strong and just above your price range. You can check out the source below to read up on these vacuums and compare prices.
- Q: My 2 year old Yorkie Terrier HATES vacuum cleaners. A couple of days ago I was vacuuming and noticed that Tom, my Yorkie, chipped his front tooth. The tooth is chipped almost right down to the gum. It doesn't seem to bother him, but I don't want my dog to be in any kind of pain. Should I take him to the vet? Even if it doesn't seem to bother him? And what will happen if they take the tooth out?
- Thank you for the question. Yes, you should have that tooth checked on. Now, I want to address here your Yorkie and vaccuum's. This behavior needs corrected. I'm going to help you start with that. Get your vacuum out in the middle of the floor. Put your Yorkie on a collar and leash. Take him over (pick him up) if you have to, to the vacuum. Put him down next to it, let him sniff at it etc. If he should shy away from it, put him back near to it, at this point you could even have him sit by it. If he should try to move, gently (gently being the key word here) just nudge his throat area with 2 fingers, and make a tsking noise at the same time. What you are doing here by nudging him is telling him that moving away from the vacuum is unacceptable behavior. The tsk sound inturrupts his train of thought of moving away. Sit him back down near to the vacuum again, this may take a little while, but he'll catch on that this is what you want him to do. After you've accomplished this, keep him near to you again, and turn the vacuum on; the moment he goes to bark or bite at it, do that nudging motion to his throat and the tsk sound. Keep doing this until he stops. The thing to remember her is that you must make this correction to him the moment he does the behavior. You have to be exact in your timing. You are acting as his pack leader. You are telling him this behavior is not acceptable. Also, don't forget to take him on at least a 20 minute walk everyday. That means he walks. This will help him with some of his energy, as all dogs are made up of energy.
- Q: Are there energy star vacuum cleaners?
- It's called a broom.
- Q: Is it true that jewish men hide money under their wives vacuum cleaners?
- If you think so??
- Q: What kind of vacuum cleaners get around baseboards the best? Mine does ok with the floors but the edge cleaner is bad.
- I use a feather duster on the base boards, then follow through with an upright Sears vacuum cleaner model 36720. I give up on expensive vacuum cleaners many years back.
- Q: I've seen a lot of advertisements for Sears Cannister Vacuums on sale or on closeout recently. Are these vacuums any good, on an absolute level, and also for the money they cost?
- I clean houses for a living and love it when the house I'm cleaning has a canister vac.I own one myself and wouldn't ever own an upright.
