- Every canister vacuum I know of has a way to put a plain floor brush on the end of the wand instead of a beater brush. Shop-vacs also just have plain brushes.

- Bagless vacuums are getting hard to find. Go to a vacuum repair shop and see if they have any reconditioned ones for sale.

- If you are looking for a kind of robot vacuum cleaner that will clean all the mess just like human with detail then i am sorry but you are looking at the wrong direction, the fact is these robots are designed for repetitive room maintenance, I am suppose you have pets, or kids who often create room around but you don't to do the cleaning thing over and over again then just let the robot do it. It will clean dust, hairs, husk and other floor dirt. With the advancement in technology robots have recovered too. They don't get stuck now, The battery life has improved to a greater detail. you don't have to worry about its charging they do it them self. once they feel low on power they will automatically return to the power source and fulfill the charging needs.

- Q: I have just a small apartment and need to get a small vacuum cleaner. But something that has good suction, and won't be useless after 5 uses. - Check to see if the drive belt is damaged or broke. That appears to be the problem. Normally just need a Phillips screwdriver.
