- I have a Dyson vacumn cleaner..I always had such problems with all my vacumn cleaners until I bought this Dyson...I had to buy one about every 2 yrs..for some reason or another...I got so tired of it one day ,I went and splurged on this one...I have it over 4 yrs now and NO problems ever...I don't need to replace bags or filters....The cord is extra long...It is very strong,,(In fact the first time I used it ,,I knocked it down my cellar steps and I thought it broke on the concrete..I did come apart, but I put it back together ,no problem...I talked my sister into getting one...We both swear by them... - Q: Ok I have a eureka whirwind vacuum cleaner and whenever I use the hose and take it out of the hole and turn the vacuum on dust shoots out of the hole and i have to turn it back off because there is no point in using it if its just gonna shoot the dust back out! - My Panasonic did the same thing when I pulled the hose a little to far one day. So, duct tape, duct tape, duct tape! And now it works fine. Looks silly, though, but who cares, so long as it works? That was the hole at the back, where the hose enters the machine; if it is the hole at the side where the hose stays when not in use, you have a clog that forces the dirt back out. So if you aren't adept at disassembling vacuum cleaners, have it checked if it's worth it to you. If not, a decent vacuum can be had for under $200.00.

- A Kirby is a good vacuum. It would be worth it to have it serviced, as newer vacuums just are not near as good, especially for as expensive as they are. Yes, there are shops that service and repair vacuums. I don't know where you are, but look in a yellow pages.

- American flags!!! My friend and her husband is from Thailand. He got his citizenship and all the new citizens were handed small flags on little sticks before the ceremony, to have their photos taken. He looked at his and there was a small sticker made in China on it. He told the immigration officer Why are American flags being made in China? He told her Oh you can take the sticker off if you don't like it. I told him You weren't a citizen for 5 minutes and already complaining, lol.
