- Q: Does the nvidia GT 520 require any power supply cables to be attached to it or do only the mid/higher end cards like HD 6870 require psu cables to be attached? Thanks
- No, the GT 520 is a low-power consumption card that doesn't need an external cable. It draws all the power it needs directly from the PCI-E x16 slot. Same story for the GeForce GT 430, GT 440, GT 630 and Radeon HD 6450, 6570, 6670 7750. None of those cards require external power. The GeForce GTS 450, GTX 550 Ti, Radeon HD 7770 and Radeon HD 6850 require a 6-pin cable. The Radeon HD 6870 and GeForce GTX 560 require two 6-pin cables, not just one.
- Q: I need power cables for my sony laptop
- go okorder
- Q: Why medium voltage power cable sometimes write 8.7 / 10kv sometimes written in 8.7 / 15kv where the difference
- If you buried the VGA line core has more than 7 (set the exclusion of the moxibustion smoked smoked ship to remove the shield), you can. VGA head is 5 to 10 feet welded together to do the public, red, green, blue shielded wire twisted together to receive the public ground: ..3 feet connected red, green, blue core; ; 14 white lines; outer shield pressure to the shell. (At least two) at both ends to pick out the audio line (left and right channels), shield to do the public, to access the audio 3.5 straight plug. If only one rich, on the channel to listen to listen to mona channel it
- Q: why my pc is shutting down and restarting only when removing the power cable and connecting it again?
- What she is saying is that when she goes to shut down the system,it shuts down fine. but will not start again unless the unit is unplugged from power, then is plugged back in,and then the power switch is hit. If the system is shut down and the power is not removed then re- connected it will not restart.. Not that hard to understand.. unless you are brain damaged. Try having someone swap the power supply out with a known working one. I had a system that did that until i changed out the power supply. It's usually caused by bad capacitors in it. Another thing that can cause it is bad caps on the motherboard and sometimes tho rarely an improperly seated ram chip.
- Q: it is not the power cable either
- Hi okorder Hope this helps. Thanks and Regards, Chinmay S
- Q: If the question, please ask how the power cable should be set when the set of quotas (08 installation quota)? More
- SC pipe welding fluid with welded steel pipe, the general thread connection, or casing welding connection. TC pipe is a thin-walled steel pipe, referred to as wire tube, you can thread connection, tight connection, buckle type connection, not casing welding connection.
- Q: The green light on the back of the power supply comes on when the power cable is plugged. also, every time i plug in the power cable, the fan on the power supply wants to spin, but it stops. The squeezing noise remains and i push the power button - nothing comes on. Before, it used to come on for a few seconds and then it will turn off by itself. I though it was a virus, so i restarted in safe mode to scan it. The PC stayed on for like 30 minutes and then it turn off by itself. But every since it does not wants to come on. Is the power supply gone? If so, how can still the green button comes on and the squeezing noise remains?please help me out! I need my PC! thanx in advanced!
- ROFLMAO What's a squeezing noise?!?
- Q: It never occurred to me that the power cable -- the one connected from the outlet to the laptop's AC brick -- is rated at quot;125V - 7Aquot;. Does that mean it won't be able to handle the 240V in some countries? The brick itself is rated 100V - 240V, so it can be used internationally. In fact, I spent a year in France, where I used my Dell Inspiron just fine (with a prong adapter so it'll fit into the socket). The reason why I'm paying attention to the power cable is because the cable for my Nikon D80 battery charger has a quot;USsticker on it. The charger itself can handle 240V, but does this mean the cable cannot?
- The thinner the cables are, the less voltage they can handle. So since cell phone charger cables are significantly smaller than laptop cables, the cell phone charger cables could heat up and actually melt the insulation.
- Q: Which is the best way to prevent damage to the laptop / ac power jack when someone trips on the cable ?Dont ask me to buy a Mac since I already have one. This is for my new PC notebook.
- I would suggest using the velcro tye's you can get at any electronic store. Try tying off at the leg of your table. You can also use gaffing tape to tape it down to your floor. Gaffers tape usually doesn't leave a residue and is easily removed. Again, you can get it at Home Depot int he electronics section. Oh yeah, and be careful. :o)
- Q: some one told me that cisco get this router without AC power it get the power from the network cable?
- Let's just clarify a thing or two: Most networking equipment uses AC power. All routers and switches (or, at least 99% of them) must be powered from an AC wall outlet. However, a wireless access point or an IP telephone may receive power from it's attached ethernet cable. Where does the power come from? The device on the other end of the cable must be supplying power through the cable. This is called PoE (power-over-ethernet) and there is at least one IEEE standard for this, and one Cisco-proprietary standard. Typical devices that can supply power are switches (not all switches) and power injectors. A power injector is a palm-sized device that you insert between a non-PoE switch and a client device to inject power into the ethernet cable. The injector must be wall powered to function. Some routers, particularly ISR (integrated services routers) routers can suypply PoE, too. So, usually routers do not receive PoE. Often, switches provide PoE. Usually, access points receive PoE. Make sense?
