- Split the power cable... Skin the insulation back on the individual wires..Keep track of the colors.... Split one side far enough back to put pieces of shrink tubing on the individual wires...put the approcate wires in an insulated butt splicer....crimp the splicers...Heat shrink the tubing...Then tape the individual leads with 3M-130c rubber tape ..Then put about 2-3 layers of 3M 88 tape on top of the rubber tape....It will last as long as you will Have A Good Day

- Q:Ok so my friend gave me a 40LCD samsung tv, but he had lost the power cable some how. I have actually found a cable to buy on the internet but i have some concerns. 1 i'm not entirely sure its the right cable for my tv, the socket looks like it would fit but the cable claims to work for all samsung song and lg tvs, when i know that my parents song lcd tv has a more complicated power cable. - You could use trunking for the cables, and for the control boxes if they are in the house you could hide them under a box which you could decorate to look like a parcel...personally I would paint it, but drill some holes for ventilation.
