FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:

Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?

The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.

Q2:Which certification do your products pass?

  Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001ISO 14001API 6AAPI 6DTS CEAPI607/6FA/BS6755.

Q: I have 3 such valves in the line and none seem to be able to move past 10/4 oclock position and water remains on. Is there a way to adjust valve? Seems there is slot for screwdriver in center of valve.
The threads are stripped, you will have to get a new one, until then shut off main line into house if you are flooding
Q: I have a honda civic and i took it to get an oil change and they told me that i had an oil leak because my valve cover needed replacing. I did not let them do the work. I called my personal mechanic and he's out of commission for a little while, so he referred me to a friend of his. He said he cleaned all of the built up oil and replaced the valve cover. I noticed yesterday that my car looks like it is leaking oil really bad. I'm wondering, could this be from him washing the old oil that was leaking? My belts seem to be squeaking, like they do when it rains. Any ideas? could this just be excess water that he cleaned it out with?
if the gasket was replaced then there may be other problems. take it to a dealer or reputable mechanic.. what kind of oil do you use, have seen this problem with plugged oil return holes. builds up pressure in valve cover and pushes it out the gasket. penz and quaker are noted for this problem.
Q: I gotta 89 Crx si. Just wondering if you could put on a blow off valve and it work without it boosted
A okorder /... but this is like putting playing cards on bicyles!
Q: what's the differences of American standard valve standard and Europe valve standard.Like API598 and ISO5208 , EN12266 valve inspection standard, or API600 valve design manufacture standard, and EN598,
It is hard to say generally. Each valve standard will cite other relevant standards, so it is API system and ISO system. Usually it has some differences between API and ISO valve, but it is similar. Most time the design Principal is same, the structure of valve is similar. For example , API swing check valve, it has an hanging system without bolt outside of body, but DIN swing check valve has an bolt for stem. The dimension obviously is different, API calculated by inch, but ISO usually use metric unit. Of course it can be transformed to same dimension. Below is some API standard, and ISO or DIN Standard. We are just able to discuss this topic for specific standard. For API598 and ISO 5208, in my opinion, it is a little different, but in fact, the differences is not very big, if an valve able to pass API598, usually same for ISO 5208. Same for ISO5208 to API 598.
Q: I went to turn the water off with the shut-off valve so that I could do some work on the toilet tank (replacing old and leaky fill valve) but the water won't shut off. I'm assuming that I'll need to replace the shut-off valve itself but could anything else be causing the problem? The funny thing is, the leaky fill valve that I wanted to replace has now stopped hissing and leaking and the tank seemingly fills fine. But of course the water can't be turned off completely.Just wanted to check make sure that there aren't anything else I should do or consider before I went off to replace the shut-off valve. Thanks
If you are turning on that valve and it doesn't shut off the flow of water to the toilet, then the valve should be replaced. Now, if it's not leaking, you don't HAVE to replace the valve. But of course, if the toilet overflowed you wouldn't have any easy way of shutting off the water There are many, many choices in replacing valves. You have to determine which kind of valve you have - sweat on, male or female thread, or compression - size of pipe coming out of the wall - size of thread for the fill tube. Once you have that figured out, you do need to turn off the house water before you take the old valve off. One more choice: Spend the extra couple of bucks and get a 1/4 turn ball type valve.
Q: List the valves that control the flow of substances through the alimentary canal. I can't find this answer?
The gastrointestinal tract is thus equipped at critical junctures with a number of muscular valves, or sphincters , which, usually under the direction of the autonomic nervous system, can regulate the movement of food through the digestive tube. Another function of a sphincter is to prevent backflow of partially digested food. The muscles of a sphincter are often described as “pursestring muscles” because the way they draw together the sides of the digestive tube is roughly similar to drawing up the strings of a purse. The first of these pursestring valves occurs at the cardia , the opening where the esophagus meets the stomach, and is called the cardiac sphincter , from its location almost directly in front of the heart. (But there is no physical connection.) Another important muscle ring is the pyloric sphincter , at the opening called the pylorus , located at the other end of the stomach, at the connection between stomach and small intestine. The release of waste from the rectum is controlled, partly voluntarily, by an anal sphincter , located at the anus , which marks the end of the tract.
Q: I just want to ask do i turn clockwise or counterclockwise in the pipe main shutoff valve to turn on the water supply?
You turn the valve counterclockwise to open or turn on the water. You would turn it clockwise to shut the water off. Think of it as you would as if you were turning a screw. Right is tight. Be sure you open the valve all the way so the packing in the valve is tight, some valves leak a little, especially old ones, if the valve is only opened partially. It pays to work a valve occasionally to keep it supple, otherwise the packing or rubber washers dry out and start to leak. When you are operating a ball valve, one with a flat handle that only turns 1/4 turn or 90 degrees, when the handle is going in the direction of the pipe, the water is on. When the handle is going across the pipe, the water is off.
Q: i need exhaust valves material dimensinons of any car.
Most valves are made of forged steel. The dimensions depend on what car. You can get a factory manual for any car. Call a motor shop to order them. Don't try to make them yourself.
Q: why do new motorcycles need to get their valves shimed alot? can someone explain how the whole valve adjusting thing works? why do some engine types require more attention? i have owned thumpers my whole life and never really thought about it. i was looking at this like cheap beater bike (hyosung gt250 v twin) and i read the valves need to be checked like 3 times in a short span, wtf??
Your prospective Hyosung may require some more frequent adjustments because the initial wear on its machined surfaces would still be polishing each other off.... surfaces like your hardened valve seats against the sealing surfaces of the valves... Or, the hardened surfaces of the cam lobes against the rocker arms. If your Hyosung's engine has been properly engineered, then its components have been properly case hardened. After their initial microscopic machined imperfections have been polished smooth, they shouldn't have to be checked as often. The Hyosung 250 was designed in Hamamatsu Japan by the same people who design Suzukis. It should turn out to be a great motorcycle. Perhaps frequent valve checks are because it's high revving and air cooled.?.? I owned an air cooled KZ550 Kawasaki, once. It required valve checks every 3000 miles. On the other hand, my wife has a 2007 Corolla. It has a low revving, Double Over Head Cam, 4 valve per cylinder LIQUID cooled engine. It requires valve adjustments every 60,000 miles.
Q: im wondering if valve is working on portal 3
No, they're not going to make portal 3. Even if they were, how the hell would we know?
