FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:
Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?
The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.
Q2:Which certification do your products pass?
Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001、ISO 14001、API 6A、API 6D、TS CE、API607/6FA/BS6755.
- Q:I heard alot about blow off valves making your engine run rich, but I want to get a blow off valve or bypass valve when I get a wrx. (I know some people think they're gay) but i dont care how loud it is, just want that sound. so what's the difference? I've been looking at this one:
- They guy above has some of it. The reason it runs rich is because when the stock by pass valve releases the air back into the intake, it does this after the MAF sensor. Since it is getting a big surge of extra air that the MAF does not read, the ECU automatically increases fuel for a split second when the BPV releases. When you suddenly release all that air into the atmosphere, the computer does not know it and still ups the fuel. That seems like not a big deal but it runs really hot and can do things like foul up plugs and even melt the catalytic converter. There is also the issue with most aftermarket units causing stalling when you first step on the gas or even when sitting still. If you want a little noise, I would first look to getting rid of the intake silencer in the fender. It looks like a milk jug. If that's not enough, then look into an open ended intake. Just be careful with intakes as they also can cause issues depending on the brand and they rear of the car. At least an intake ca be tuned for though. The issues with a BOV can be reduced a little with tuning but can not be eliminated. Sow know that you know the risks and how it does absolutely zero to benefit the car, spend the money on something better.
- Q:yes i just started clarinet. all my spit just comes right through and falls on my feet and the ground. i was just wondering if the clarinet had a spit valve or somthing.-thanks
- Nope. There isn't a need for a spit valve since any condensation which forms can just fall out onto your feet. Spit valves are only needed in instruments where moisture builds up. However, you may find that sometimes moisture will get trapped in some of the keys, causing certain notes to have trouble sounding. Every now and then if this happens you can open the key and blow across the hole to blow away any moisture which has formed.
- Q:My AC leaks and mechanic says it is shrader valve. Is it expensive?
- A Schrader valve is a simple push valve used to keep pressure inside a container or system, while making it easy to add more pressure when required. The valve stems on your car's tires are Schrader valves. The PARTS to replace a valve are fairly cheap, but labor and materials to repair an AC system may run the bill up.
- Q:So i was looking for car parts and i was using my favorite website, and i was looking at turbos which are wicked costly. But i saw some blow off valves which i have heard about before. But i was wondering if you need a turbo in order to have a blow off valve installed into your car. And if you don't my next question would be is it hard to put one in and how?? Thank you for your time..
- A blowoff valve goes onto your intake or the piping from your turbocharger to make sure that you dont run to much pressure they are adjustable to whatever pressure you desire. Usually people running a positive displacement blower or a turbochargers run them. That being said I'm sure that you could put one on your car but without a power adder it would never blow off. Except in the case of a intake manifold overpressure such as a backfire.
- Q:I have a WRX. slightly modified. im getting some upgrades here soon. clutch, brakes, and catback exhaust. i have a blow off valve i bought a while back, but found out it was illegal here in cali. if you know about blow off valves, then respond. is it worth putting on? what are the consciences of having one illegally if noticed by cops? all i know is that it sounds bad ***! :)
- A blow off valve is a protection function combating something from exploding or combating your engine from stalling. in case you have a speedier and you're on finished throttle after which you abruptly permit flow and your throttle valve is in idle then the turbine remains generating boodt however the throttle valve does no longer permit all of it bypass springing up back tension. This back tension reasons the engine to stall. whilst the throttle valve is in idle after finished throttle distinctive tension after the thorttle valve after the manifold creates a vacuum lifting a spriing permitting the severe air to be discharged into the ambience or it is going back into the intake or speedier.
- Q:What would be the effect on valve opening if the clearance was set too large or too small, please help
- Too Much Valve Clearance
- Q:ok im buying a kx 125 from 96 and he said the only problem with the bike is that it has a small oil leak around the power valve too me it sounds like a gasket. but i want someone elses opinion on what else it could be.
- The kx125 actually has 3 valves in the exhaust, a main, a left-hand one and a right-hand one. Each is fitted with o-rings which require disassembly in order to be reached. This would also be a good time to clean the power valves since they tend to become encrusted with carbon deposits which interfere with their normal operation.
- Q:I am modelling the production of phthalic annhydride and my process has a lot of FIC, LIC, PIC notations in circles on the connections. Moreover there are what i think are temprature and pressure notations in a square and a triangle. But most primarily what does a pneumatic valve do?
- pneumatic valve is nothing but a valve which is operated with the help of high pressure compressed air. the can be thought of as an alternative of a metal spring... These could retract valves more quickly and reduce the possibility of piston-valve interference as long as pressure could be maintained. Additionally, the amount of seat tension required to keep a coil sprung valve under control results in greater peak lift loading, with added stress to the entire valvetrain as a result.
- Q:What are the types of control valves used in the oil industry and how are they applied.
- There are other manual control valves and on/off automatic valves that are used a various places for remote or emergency control. These can be globe, gate, ball, plug or butterfly valves. They can be actuated by pneumatics, hydraulics or electric power.
- Q:I own a 2001 Chevy cavalier Z24 with a dual cam... Just got it tuned up and noticed oil in my spark plug sockets, which leaves me to assume either the valve cover gaskets or the cam carrier gasket is leaking oil... I would prefer to so this by myself considering I'm sure it's going to be costly.. Anyone have any ideas on how I go about replacing either?
- valve cover shouldn't be that much of a problem as long as you have some basic tools and some mechanical ability. Take it that its a 4 cylinder car, the size of the motor is very helpful when looking for tips. Just don't over torque your bolts when replacing. 89 in lbs is about normal on gm's valve covers
