- Q: I‘m looking for/going to buy a new car before the end of the month. What are the advantages/disadvantages between smaller/bigger wheels? Cost/value? Handling? Tire wear? Ride? Others? Thanks!
- here we go , as far as cost goes, 20 inch tires are more expensive than 18 inch tires (10 to 15% higher per tire). your ride with good tires will be about the same for both the 18s and 20s and the tire wear is dependent solely on the tread rating of the tires not the rims. larger rims look cool but they do not hold up as well as smaller rims in tight cornering or extreme driving because they have a tendency to flex more under stress. The larger the rim is the more play it will have as far as flex is concerned in an off road or extreme G force driving situation. but if you're not going to be using the vehicle for off road use or driving it like you stole it from the feds, then the only real issue is how much are you willing to spend up front and then on tires periodically.
- Q: Can the driver's license be paid first?
- The first post school is like doing the individual driving school to do things, very little. If the money is not enough, you can use Jingdong white to pay. Wheel test driver's license and Jingdong white bar in the recent activities, enrollment car can be used to pay in batches, the subject can go to try.
- Q: How can i post a wheel to someone without it getting scratched?
- Wheel boxes don't only protect against scratches. They protect the ends of your axle, and they also protect your spokes. Try asking at a local bike shop to see if they have any spares. Like bikes, wheels are shipped to stores in wheel boxes, and it is possible they have some they are finished with. Good wheel boxes are made of very heavy duty cardboard and have internal reinforcement and specially made pieces that hold the wheel in place. Even if you could find another box that is the right size, it wouldn't have all the extra bits
- Q: Why should I lock the inner wheel when I enter the corner?
- This is really rare, there are locked tires are generally racing push to the limit, about to miss the brake point, the driver is too prone to such a situation, when the car center of gravity forward to the front wheel.
- Q: My gerbils destroyed their plastic wheel (I have 2 gerbils) and my dad said not to get another one. However, I want to get them a wheel so how can I make sure they won‘t bite it. (There are no metal wheels around where I live)PS. Putting cardboard tubes in the cage doesn‘t help, they just bite both!
- will I have a gerbil it does the same so it chewed a huge whole in it's cage so i had to get him a glass tank a metal wheel is the only thing I can think of so best of luck just dont give them a wheel they will get use to it tho so ya best of luck again!!!!
- Q: Just learn the car, the steering wheel gently hit a hemp, and how to master,
- Less play direction to see how to go front development and then hit t
- Q: I bought a KIA Sorento with AWD. I read the owners manual and my understanding is that it is 2 wheel drive but kicks into 4 wheel drive only when it detects slippage. Is this correct?
- Yes that is correct- 2 wheel drive basically means that only two wheels have power over how fast the car is going- therefore 4 wheel drive is all of the wheels being able to power the vehicle, (2WD 4WD)
- Q: I‘m still not understanding the whole wheel and axle concept? Especially on how to tell whether it multiplies speed or force! Examples of wheel and axles that increase speed and others that increase force would be great, also with definitions! Thank you for your help!
- performance exhaust would be better.glass pac muffler like the cherry bomb
- Q: because my skateboard is new the wheels don‘t spin that well. and my friend has a oldish skateboard and the wheels spin good. How can i make my wheels run as smooth and good?
- ok, well the way your wheels spin have nothing to do with the wheels (actually, a bit to do with the wheels) but moreso the bearings. now, if your well aquainted with the parts of your board, you know that the bearings are the doughnut shaped bits that go in the wheels that make them spin. n now i dont know what type of bearings you have in you board, but theres always something that can mess them up. like, for example, did you ride through any sand or dirt? because thats a no no, becuse they stuck in the bearings and make you go slow. oh, and they can get rusty too, so dont leave your board outside too much, lest it get waterlogged too. i would suggest some WD-40, which, im assuming, is a type of lubricant, because my friend sprays some of that on his bearings and he rolls fine, but i cant gaurentee that. and try loosening the bolts, you could have over tightnened them XD some bearings i suggest are : Reds-- theyre good, lightweight, and very cheap for how good they are. theyre vert bearings, so theyre made to be fast i would suggest lucky bearings, but i had bad experiences with those (i once bought some because i thought that since they cost more, thye work better.wrong choice.) and finally, Bones Swiss bearings are, by far, the best bearings i have ever had. but that doesnt come with a heavy cost (the ones i got were like 50 bucks XD totally worth it) ive had one board for two years now, and those Bones still spin great! theyre also made by the same ppl who make the Reds, thyre vert bearings, and extremely unnecessarily good XD good luck kid.
- Q: Shirley is on a Ferris wheel which spins at the rate of 3.2 revolutions per minute. The wheel has a radius of 35 feet, and the center of the wheel is 49 feet above the ground. After the wheel starts moving, Shirley takes 14 seconds to reach the top of the wheel. How high above the ground is she when the wheel has been moving for 6 minutes? (Round your answer to two decimal places.)
- 1) Center of the wheel is 49 feet above the ground that means top of the wheel is 98 feet above the ground 2) in 6 minutes the wheel would have revolved 6 times 3.2 revolutions that is 19.2 revolutions 3) a (0.2 revolution is an angle of 360*0.2 72 degrees (Or 0.4 Pi() ) The elevation of Shirley will be 35 sin ( 0.4Pi() ) 33.29 feet
