Q: People always ask me if i know who invented the wheel
I bet the wheel was first invented as a part for a toy or a tool for crushing grain. Then some genius figured that we could use it for transportation so he makes people carry him while he's sitting on top of the wheel. Then they figured it could roll so they put a stick through it.
Q: How do weighted wheels go up hill?
The wheels in this ad would have a heavy weight attached at the top of the wheel. After the wheel is nudged, the weight would be off to the side of the centre of balance, and it would roll over as the weight moved to the bottom. Try attaching a couple of coins or a magnet to the inside of a can and watch it roll.
Q: I have an 03 eclipse, and getting some aftermarket wheels soon. Are there any videos that show how to put aftermarket wheels on a car? Especially my car. Thanks
I would suspect that you would put them on the same way you put any wheels on. If you bought the right wheels, they should have the same lug nut placement as the factory wheels. Put the wheel on the rotor and put the lug nuts back on in a crisscross pattern. Torque the lug nuts to the right torque. On the 2003 eclipse, the right torque is about 98 foot-pounds.
Q: is there any aerospoke wheels for a cyclocross bikesand is it possible to make a fixed gear cyclocross bike?
Cyclocross wheels need to be really strong, and aero spokes would limit that. This isn't to say that one couldn't build strong wheels, just that they wouldn't be as strong as their round spoke counterparts. A fixed gear cyclocross bike would be like having a single speed Jeep. Keep in mind what a cyclocross bike is used for and consider the most efficient setup.
Q: Hamster Wheel: Is this okay?
Not until the blanket suddenly bursts into flames (which it will eventually), the oil heater explodes as a result, and you burn the house down! Why would you even want to DO something so (obviously) stupid dangerous?
Q: I mean like Subaru's, which have 4 wheels, yet say they have "all wheel drive"
All wheel means the four wheel drive in on all the time. 4 wheel means it is usually two wheel until the driver selects 4 wheel.
Q: Calibration of wheel dynamic balance?
Is to lead the lead
Q: I‘m thinking of getting a flying saucer wheel for my pet mouse. If you have used these wheels before, are they good wheels? Silent, easy to clean, etc. What size should I get?
I don't knOw about flying saucers, but if you want a silent wheel, silent spinners are awesome! For any wheel (including the saucers) just make sure that your mouse doesn't have to arch his/her back so you don't cause back issues later.
Q: A wheel has radius 10cm and it is coupled by a belt to another wheel of radius 30cm. The smaller wheel increases its speed from rest at uniform rate of π rad/s^2. The time after which the speed of larger wheel becomes 1000 rpm is…………………??
The angular speed of the smaller wheel is 30/10 3 times angular speed of the larger wheel. _________________ If this isn't clear note that: Circumference of small wheel - 2π x 10 20π cm Circumference of larger wheel - 2π x 30 60π cm Imagine following a point on the belt. After 1 revolution of the small wheel, the point has moved a distance 20π cm. This corresponds to 1/3 of the circumference of the larger wheel - so the larger wheel has only move 1/3 of a revolution in the same time. _________________ When the larger wheel has a speed of 1000rpm, the smaller wheel has a speed of 3000 rpm. 3000 rpm (3000 / 60) rps 50 rps 50 x 2π rad/s 100π rad/s t change in angular speed/angular acceleration 100π/π 100s
Q: If my wheel bushing is worn, about how much would it cost including labor, just an estimate if any of you would know. Thanks.04 chrysler sebring
