- Q: * 7 Wheels refers to a Japanese Clan Name* 7 shichi / nana / nana-tsu / nano* Wheel rin / wa_______________I‘m guessing it would look something like this? :Romaji : NanaWaKana : 七輪
- Copper, in small amounts, isn't harmful. Once a layer of patina has been created, it doesn't strongly react to the water. It's bendable. It's easy to solder parts together. Strong (can withstand high water pressures without bursting, but that's true of many metels).
- Q: i really wanan know whats the difference, some people say rear wheel drives better, or front wheel drives for inexperienced drivers. I really wanna know whats the difference and whats better! lol coz my r33 skyline is rear wheel drive and i nearly lost it around the roundabout that last rainy day!!
- Rear wheel drive is where your rear wheels move your vehicle. Front wheel drive is where your front wheels move your vehicle. 4Wheel drive is where all four wheels move your vehicle. Which is better depends on the driver. There are arguments either way. The best way to determine for yourself is to test drive them. I'm happy with rear wheel drive, though tests have shown front wheel drive to be safer. If your tires are in good condition and not the problem you can still look into better tires that help prevent skiding. Here is pedia's technical description and link below: Front-wheel drive is the most common form of engine/transmission layout used in modern passenger cars, where the engine drives the front wheels. Most front-wheel drive vehicles today feature transverse engine mounting, where as in past decades engines were mostly positioned longitudinally instead. Rear-wheel drive was the traditional standard and is still widely used in luxury cars, most sport cars, and trucks. Four-wheel drive is also sometimes used. The vast majority of rear wheel drive vehicles use a longitudinally-mounted engine in the front of the vehicle, driving the rear wheels via a driveshaft linked via a differential between the rear axles. Some FR layout vehicles place the transmission at the rear, though most attach it to the engine at the front. Rear wheel drive has fallen out of favor in passenger cars since the 1980s[citation needed], due in part to higher manufacturing costs, and that front wheel drive is safer to drive[1], and that it performs better on slippery roads.[2][3] However, some automobile brands, including Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Porsche continue to use rear wheel drive platforms. Rear wheel drive (or all-wheel drive) is still the preferred choice for high performance automobiles.[4]
- Q: What is the meaning of J on the wheel?
- No specific meaning, is the same with the name of people, but in a few letters when the arrangement is often representative of the height of the changes in the rim
- Q: I'm looking to buy a commuter bike. I've seen the type that fold up but they come with smaller wheels (18) than type a regular bike would use. How much more peddling and work will I have to do in order to get around?
- How many pointed sticks can you find?
- Q: Why quickly wink to see the wheels of rotation, you can see the moment the shape of the wheel, like a still picture?
- n the rapid movement, when the human eye to see the image disappears, the human eye can continue to retain its image, about 0.1-0.4 seconds or so, this phenomenon is called visual retention phenomenon. When the human eye looks at the object, it is imaged on the retina, and the optic nerve is input into the human brain, and the image of the object is felt. However, when the object is removed, the impression of the optic nerve on the object does not disappear immediately, and the duration of 0.1-0.4 seconds Time, the nature of the human eye is called "the eye of the visual stay".
- Q: My rear driver‘s side wheel is vibrating on my 2001 Hyundai Sonata. It seems to vibrate worse at highway speeds. the wheel vibrated with my old tire (before it went flat), with the donut, and after 4 new tires and a front end alignment (for an unrelated vibrating issue), it continues to shake the entire vehicle. But I have also noticed that when I go around a left curve, (and turn the wheel to the left), the vibration disappears. When the wheel is straightened back out, the vibration returns. I‘ve heard it could be the wheel itself, but the donut is a completely different wheel that still vibrated. When I take the wheel off and turn the rotor, it doesn‘t spin smoothly, and makes a scraping sound during the revolution (possibly rubbing on the brake pads?). Is this part of my problem? I have had the entire wheel bearing assembly replaced in that wheel within the last 2 years. Any advice on what this could be would be very helpful. Thank you.
- It SEEMS LIKE its coming from the rear. Its not. Its not even the wheels at all. It is the steering gear box. I am a professional and had the same problem MANY TIMES! If it was the wheels, it would be the same all the time. Since it is not the same all the time it is the steering gearbox or something in the steering mechanism. Also you said you took off the wheel and spin it. Scraping noise is normal when the wheel is off
- Q: All wheels stuck to the hubs due to rust, how to break them free?BTW with today‘s technology why part makers can‘t make wheels simply won‘t stuck the the hubs?
- So the wheel is aluminum and the hub is metallic, happens each and every of the time. Sledge hammed and hit the in the tire turning the wheel so which you do no longer save hitting an identical spot. once you get it off use never length on the metallic component of the hub, in user-friendly terms an extremely small volume nevertheless or it is going to finally end up on your wheel and that's confusing to get off.
- Q: how important is wheel and tires balancing
- Yes you do need to balance new tires. If you just put them on unbalanced your car may develop a vibration while driving, especially at highway speeds (60 mph / 100 KPH) Also this vibration will, over time cause uneven or abnormal wear on the tires and shocks / springs. It is usually not very expensive, usually $5.00 or so per tire and you will not have an annoying vibration while driving.
- Q: I Just found some wheels in my backyard that my pops left me, but i'm not too sure of the name. They look exactially like the Spinergy REV-X Wheels, but my wheels have 6 spokes instead of the REV-X 4 Spokes. Can someone help me identify these ? And how much does a wheel run now a days ? Thanks !
- I have 4 spokes on my racing wheels (triathlon). I'm pretty sure the 6 spoke version was for MTB's. Don't recall their model terminology, as those wheels are about 10 years old and probably went for $500-700 at the time. Obviously pops was fairly serious about his cycling.
- Q: what are the advantages disadvantages to a rear wheel drive front wheel drive car? Speed? acceleration? mileage? performance? Everything. ?
- If all the points you listed fell solidly to front wheel drive why are dragsters rear wheel drive, why was Chevrolet allowed to alter a car to make it rear wheel drive by Nascar, why are Indy cars rear wheel or all wheel drive. The answer is simple, real performance requires rear wheel or all wheel drive. Front wheel drive is less labor intensive to assemble in the factory. That is the only advantage. For the young man and the snow theory. Snow driving is about traction, nothing else. Drag racing is about traction, nothing else. Physics say very simply, when accelerating weight transfer is to the rear wheels. Not the front. Fact that the front wheels are under power and turning eliminates snow piling up in front of the tires. Poor drives will do better in snow with front wheel drive, good drivers (snow proficient) do as well or better with rear wheel drive. Remember Weight Transfer. Like I said, front wheel drive is easier to produce. It has NOTHING to do with better, safer or any other er you can think of save cheaper. I will give the manufacturers credit, they have managed to put a few horsepower in a front wheel drive car. Apparently they have finally gotten a handle on the torque steering that plagued all the little bitty bite size stuff that used to come in from Japan.
