- Atom wheels are a fine brand. There are lots of good brands to choose from is also the truth. Wheels are rated by hardness/softness and size (diameter) and indicate the bering size hole in the middle as well. K2 and Rollerblade are good brands also but I would not have you worry too much about the difference between the name brand and the off brand. If you skate much you will find they all wear out just about the same. Just keep rotating your wheels and switching them from side to side to get the most even wear and longest life from them.
