Q: What is the difference between basketball and PVC and their most suitable aspects?
PVC is polyvinyl chloride, English referred to as PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), vinyl chloride monomer (vinyl chloride monomer, referred to as VCM) in the peroxide, azo compounds and other initiator; or in the light, heat by free radical polymerization Reaction mechanism polymerization of the polymer. Vinyl chloride homopolymer and vinyl chloride copolymer collectively referred to as vinyl chloride resin. The material is a non-crystalline material. PVC materials in the actual use of often added stabilizers, lubricants, auxiliary processing agents, colorants, impact agents and other additives. With non-flammability, high strength, weather resistance and excellent geometric stability. PVC has a strong resistance to oxidants, reducing agents and strong acids. Pvc basketball is the use of soft PVC is generally used for flooring, ceilings and leather surface, but because soft PVC contains softener (which is the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), easy to become brittle, easy to save, so its use by Limited.
Q: What is good material for external wall insulation
Of course, is the use of fireproof materials rock wool board better
Q: I'm looking to move into a new apartment by the end of the month. It's in a good location, however the only down side is that the neighbors upstairs have kids and they run a day care during the day. Luckily I work and won't be home until 5:30 or so, but just by visiting the place today I could hear them walking upstairs and I'm sure that it's going to annoy me.I would like to know if anybody has any ideas on how to noise proof my ceiling for a reasonable price. Is there some kind of paint that effectively noise proofs walls and such, or would I have to wreck the ceiling and place fiberglass or something of the sort in order to ensure that I don't hear them walking or they don't hear me playing loud music and such.Any help is appreciated, thanks!
This will cost you a little bit and I suppose you'd have to get permission from the landlord, but you can buy ceiling covering that comes in larger pieces but has a design in relief so that it will look like many smaller tiles. You use a caulk gun to put adhesive on the back of the section in strategic places, and then you just press it up onto your ceiling...just start at one corner and go all the way to the opposite one and then go back and start another row...remember to 'match' the pieces so that the tile lines are even. This is very light weight material but it is has a sort of foam-like core that will indeed give you some sound proofing. Plus, it makes a very regal looking ceiling.
Q: What is the crystal structure of MgCl2
Chemical Name: Magnesium Chloride [1] (MgCl2) Chemical Description: English name is magnesiumchloride. The chemical formula MgCl2 is composed of 74.54% chlorine and 25.48% magnesium, with a relative molecular mass of 95.21. Was colorless hexagonal crystals. Density 2.316-2.33 g / cm 3. Melting point 714 ° C. The boiling point of 1412 ℃. Usually contains six molecules of crystal water, that is, MgCl2 · 6H2O, easy deliquescence. For the monoclinic crystal, with or salty, there is a certain corrosive. Its density 1.569 g / cm 3, the melting point of 116-118 ° C, while decomposition. Soluble in water, heating and dehydration and hydrogen chloride from magnesium oxide. Use [2]: for the production of metal magnesium, disinfectant, frozen brine, ceramics, and used to fill the fabric, paper and so on. The solution and magnesium oxide mixed, can become hard wear-resistant magnesia cement. Method: from magnesium oxide or lime soil and hydrochloric acid role in the system. Seawater and salt brine are present in the presence of magnesium chloride. The shape of magnesium chloride [3]: generally in flake, block, crystal, particles and powder-based. Content of about 46% of magnesium chloride hexahydrate, 99% of anhydrous magnesium chloride. Magnesium chloride Chemical and physical properties: soluble in water and ethanol. Sensory indicators: white crystals, columnar or needle-like, bitter taste.
Q: We have an area in our ceiling that had water damage a few years ago and we repaired it ourselves for a quick fix. We never got around to actually getting it professionally repaired, but had never had any issues so it wasn't something we were worried about. About 3 days ago we noticed that there was a hole, about an inch long, I'm the crease of the ceiling where it meets the wall in the same place we had repaired. We don't know if maybe there is a mouse in the wall chewing a hole, if the house finally settled to the point where it cracked our repair job, or if there is another answer. It appears that the holes are only in the drywall tape and not in the drywall itself. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be going on our who we could call in to inspect this?
I would suspect mold - esp. since moisture was a problem.
Q: What kind of materials do you need to decorate a house?
wood
Q: When I moved into my house the ceiling was cracked from the ceiling fan out to the walls in two directions. I don't want to put new wall board up and repairing the crack is not possible according to my Husband. What are some ways to cover the ceiling up?
What you have to do is scape about 12 inches on each side of the crack. Tape and float with drywall tape and joint compound. If you have popcorn (acoustic) texture, that's better. Popcorn texture covers up all the imperfections you might leave. Once finished floating just shoot your texture. Since you probably don't have the tools. It's really not that expensive to do. Maybe$150 to $225. depending on the area your in and the size of the cracks. I recommend you get a drywall guy to come to your house and fix it, Try to get somebody to do it on a side job and not a company. Good luck. Jorge Flores Professional Painting and Remodeling co.
Q: If there is no gravity
No gravity is in the feeling of space, no friction people unable to move. This is the main idea, and then think of what can be made on the blind,
Q: hey. i am moving my room into another room in my house. The only problem with this room is that the ceiling is quite old and one part of it fell off. I need to fix this part that fell off. I think the whole ceiling is plaster i guess but underneath the plaster are these really skinny wood boards with something that looks like cement between them. Can i just do the standard drywall fix with a new drywall piece and some mesh and can i nail the drywall into these boards? I also need to peel ugly wallpaper off too to paint it. If i could just fix this part of the ceiling, things would be great. Oh, the whole is like 3 feet by 2 ft so how much would the drywall be to fix it. i cant get it done by a proffessional because i have no money and my mom will by me the drywall. A lot of help appreciated. thanks.
You can repair it with drywall but it will take a lot of sheet rock mud to get it right. One half inch drywall costs about 12.00 in Georgia. The mud will cost about 8.00.
Q: What are the active lime use?
First, the preparation of lime mortar and lime milk coating Lime mortar from lime paste and sand, water mixed together, can be used as the wall, the ceiling of the plaster. Lime milk is made from lime cream and is often used as a paint for interior and ceiling. Second, the preparation of lime and triad soil Lime: lime + clay. Triad: lime + clay + sand, stone or slag and other fillers. Can be widely used as the basis of the building, the road or the ground cushion. Third, the production of carbonized lime board The calcined lime board is a lightweight sheet made of ground lime, fibrous filler (such as glass fiber) or lightweight aggregate (such as slag), and then made by artificial carbonization. It is suitable for non-load bearing inner wall panel , Ceiling and so on. Fourth, the production of silicate products Grinding of lime or lime powder and sand or granulated blast furnace slag, slag, fly ash and other siliceous materials by ingredients, mixing, molding, and then pressure or high pressure steam curing, can be made of dense or porous silicate products The Such as lime sand bricks, fly ash bricks and blocks, aerated concrete blocks and so on. Fifth, the preparation of clinker-free cement Will have a certain activity of the material (such as granulated blast furnace slag, fly ash, coal gangue ash and other industrial waste), according to the appropriate proportion of lime with the common grinding, can be obtained with hydraulic cementing material, that is No clinker cement.
