Q:Basically bought a new graphics card (480 gtx) and im going to install into my computer but i wish to also install a phyx card as well. This seems simple enought but i only have 2 6pin power cables in my pc atm and im am unsure how to install another 2 6pins. Current PSU is a antec 1000w: The above answer is sweet, with the single exception: do now no longer purchase a in many circumstances used psu. as nicely to the OCZ he recommends, examine out Antec and probably Hyper. Q:when I Plug off power cable in my Laptop compaq v3424tu why its flucatuating the screen.Recently I am using windows XP.Pls reply if any suggestion.: Maybe the power management resetting the notebook after unplug the power. it's not reset the whole system, only adjusting into battery mode (long life). Q:My friend gave me a PS2 as a gift of Friendship but it was missing a cable. And that cable was the power cable. He told me I can use a power cable that some radios use, and it will be the same. Q:i wanna know how much distance should be in between the power cable and the cat5 cable: it could be ok at a few inches however i personally had experience where it had to be a few feet but only with power going to a florecent light... whenever light was turned on i lost net yet cat5 could be run right next to light itself or other power lines no problem.. fyi, no one could figure it out, even qwest dsl service people ( 3 in all) - ended up having to be 3 feet from just that certain power line

Q:I bought this graphics card tonight, and went to install it on my new Dell PC and while the card itself is powered by a 6-pin, I don't have one on my power supply. Is there an adapter I can use? Or will I have to go buy a new power supply for a NEW computer..?: Depends - what are your system specs? Impossible for people to help you when we don't even know what hardware you're running. Don't ruin your new graphics card by putting it ; 1. On a power supply without enough wattage to handle it, and 2. On a power supply that didn't come with cables for a graphics card. Chances are you should invest in a bigger power supply. I would recommend at least 550w for a GTX550Ti. I recommend Corsair and XFX power supplies, as well as Seasonic.

Q:I'm going to be running 1/0 gauge power wire in my car. My amp only accepts 4 gauge. Is it better to run 1 the whole way through and use power cable adaptors to fit the amp or run the 1 gauge into a distribution block that sizes the output wire down to a 4?: 1 gauge to the d-block, 4 to the amps/caps.

Q:When i want to connect two SATA hard drives do I need some power cable on slave or just to connect it with sata cable and that'it? Because I did it like that and it's not recognized. And I don't have second SATA power supply cable in my computer.: first, your HDD needs power in order for it to work, that's a fact,after you have connected all necessary cables(cables and powersupply of HDD), next go to bios setup(press delete button at start up) and configure your HDD in STANDARD CMOS FEATURES, put your primary HDD in IDE CHANNEL 0 MASTER and your 2nd HDD in IDE CHANNEL 1 MASTER, save and exit set up, then your good to go :D
