Q:I am running a LAN Cable through my walls, and I'm using the existing holes for the power lines. I'm wondering if the RF from the power line can interfere with the LAN Cables data. Thanks!
If putting them near power lines, ALWAYS get the shielded cables. Like Wikipedia says: Shielded cables are useful for environments where proximity to power cables, RF equipment, or high power equipment may introduce crosstalk, and can also be used where interference with radio receivers or where eavesdropping likelihood should be minimised.
Q:I removed the seats to my 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE and noticed that there was a small cable sticking out from the carpet underneath the seats. Since I have the SE model my car didn't come with the power seats. My question is are those cables there to attach the power seats?
Yes, all wire harnesses are made to serve the power needs of all possible options rather than building different harnesses for each individual car.
Q:Today I was using my pc, it was running awfully slow so I restarted and it kept flashing quot;Power cable has not been attached to your video cardquot;. So I turned it off and flicked the master switch on the back of the pc and sure enough it turned on. But it was all low resolution and said no ati driver is installed. I reinstalled all the ATI files and drivers and restarted and the same error message came up. I then flicked the switch on the back and it booted up. I have also checked the Hardware manager and it says for the Graphics card quot; Can not start (error 10)quot;. So what I think is that the pSU is not supplying enough power to the graphics card, so the pc switches to iGP, I have a funny fealing it's the PSU, not the GPU...
Well, just to be sure, check out this site and examine the capacitors on your motherboard (esp. around the video card slot), on the video card itself, and the ones that you can see inside the PSU. I think that you will find one or more that are bulging...
Q:what can i do so i can use my DL burner on my new pc?
EIDE (Enhanced IDE) is no longer a standard on most computers which uses SATA. In turn, they also use different power connections. The channel cable is dependent on the mother board, but the power supply is dependent on the power box. If there is an IDE channel, but no power cable, you have only two options. 1. Buy a new SATA based drive. 2. But a new power supply. Buying a new power supply to replace the one you have is definitely a void of warranty. You are much better off with a new drive.
Q:It's provided to me by my ISP which is Cox. If I were to unplug the power cord what would happen, would my phone no longer work without another technicians appointment. I know that the motorola cable modem with no phone service you can power cycle that one.
Turn off the modem. Wait 5-10 seconds. Turn the modem back on. If there isn't an on/off switch on the modem: unplug the modem, wait 5-10 seconds, plug the modem back in.
Q:I am using a Peavey Windsor half-stack that I've had for a little over a year now. It's 300 watts, 120 VAC (whatever that means), and 60 Hz. I lost the power-cable so I bought a new one, but I wanted to make sure there's no risk in using it. I'm pretty sure it's safe but I'd hate to overpower it if that's possible.
It means that it has 300 watts of power . Thats a lot of power. 120VAC means that you connect it to a regular wall plug. If you can connect it to the amp and the wall socket , you got yourself an amp.
Q:Soooooo I don't know much about electronics, but... I'm pretty that my AC power cable for my new receiver was made wrong. You know how it supposed to have a positive and a negative pins? well they are both the same. I know that the wall outlet has the little whole and the bigger one. I've seen some AC power cables that only have the little flat pins so they fit on the wall outlet. My cable has two of the big flat pins... so I can't plug it in the outlet. What do I do? is there like a plug I could buy? I've been using google but I can't find anything...
The hot side of outlets has a smaller socket dimension, and that's supposed to prevent a plug that has an assigned neutral from being plugged in with the neutral (wider blade) side connected to the hot side. If your plug has two of the wider blades, then that does sound like a manufacturing defect. I'd complain to the manufacturer or vendor. Hopefully the power cord is removable, so you don't have to return the whole unit.
Q:I CAN'T AFFORD A NEW POWER SUPPLY CABLE/ADAPTER AT THE MOMENT.CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE.
Plug on your cam change it to playback, homestead windows will hit upon it set up the motive force immediately. then pass on your enhancing programme decide on capture, import the clips you decide on edit them with homestead windows action picture Maker yet this programme is extremely common, shop your edited clips make a disc by utilising following the classes in WMM.
Q:I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs.i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. Will this blow out my amp or do any damage or will it be all good and give the maximum power my amp can supply? (Without exploding) just wondering thanks!
no sir it will not, infact it may completly stop the problem, i would say to much current is passing through the wire, if the amp will accept the wire (even if its a tight fit) thats what your looking for. so to answer your question using the 680 watt wiring kit is just what you need and will be perfect, you could even get the 1200 watt wiring kit if need be, (assumikng you bought the schosche kit from walmart)
Q:Will the YJV22-0.6 / 1KV5 * 10 (cable or wire model specifications) Will this model represents what cable diameter
GB-2002 provides: metal cable bridge and its bracket and the introduction or extraction of metal cable ducts must be ground (PE) or zero (PEN) is reliable, and must meet the following requirements:
